Class is a primordial essence of our modern day life style and anyone one without high standard or grace to be a part of the elite class is automatically segregated, hence love between the rich and the poor is almost impossible due to this thin line of social strata, class and circle, finding true love in our modern world is almost a mission impossible because you either all into the trap of money lovers, social climbers after reputation or influence. Modern day young adults popularly called the Gen-Z’s have always being prey to love traps while the millennia’s are a bit rational and thoughtful but it’s just a means to an end.
This is a story of a young female Senior executive who’s gotten to the top of her career and the social ladder though partially deaf due to an accident, she was involved in, with three of her siblings which almost claimed their lives, her elder sister lost her pregnancy, her younger sister couldn’t graduate due to a head injury that made her comatose for month’s while her younger brother could not continue his football career for two year due to multiple fracture, for fear of losing her children to careless argument’s while driving between her daughters, while driving, her mother blamed her and pour every bit of her frustration on her because she came out of the accident without a physical injury aside the partial deafness. This led to her running away from home, family and love. Independence that brought in sauciness crept in her life as arrogance; unkindness and took over passion, love and humanity. She feels she has gained the best of what life has to offer through hard work, and money seems the ultimate without love, care and validation.
Relationship, love and family no longer meant anything to her, it became a subject that was never to be brought up whenever and wherever she was, abandoned by their father, leaving their mother frustrated who constantly poured it out on them and the accident made it even worst as her mother’s words and action even fed the demon in her to grow bigger.
Life on the streets taught her to be strong, independent and hard as these were the criteria for survival. She builds an empire for herself and also a high brick wall around her emotions and feeling never allowing anyone in not to talk of loving anyone. She never allows any man close to her, into her personal space not to talk of working for her, aside her driver and gate men who were both aged but the driver older and long overdue for retirement, she’s is now faced with either jumping from taxi to taxi or employ a young vibrant driver, who by the way was her first love unknown to the both of them, Sparks of love began to manifest through actions, words and ultimately feelings. Would she open her heart to the possibilities of love, care, family and humanity again? How then, would she ever learn to let down her guard and allow someone into her life, herein lies the problem, would she ever find love again and would the love of her, family, friends and ex-lover whom she bailed out on ever return to her?
