"Mom, I'm cutting the call or I'm going to be late." "ok dear,take care" "bye" I'm definitely going to be late. I sigh and take my bag. I lock my door carefully and leave for my destination, St. Paul Hospital. Hey, I'm Sarah. I'm a nurse and one week ago I've joined St. Paul Hospital as an intern. It's been 10days since I have moved to the new city. I've rented a house which is a two story house. I live in the lower part and upper story belong to my house mate and to my luck I haven't met him in these 10 days. Though the house isn't big but still it's very cozy. A bedroom with attached bathroom,living room and a small kitchen. okk I can't get any better place with such amount of money. I like it. My land lady is very kind hearted woman, she even send me food twice and invited once at her house for dinner. My father was an army officer and when I was 10 he died in a mission. After his death it was me and my mom. But then few years later she found love of her life again and got married and they have two twin daughters of 8 years.Ok life isn't that bad but the man died in the mission always was there in my heart maybe that's why I never able to call my mother's new husband daddy.He is a good person and keeping mom happy. What else I want with out her happiness, nothing. I was so lost in my thoughts that I don't notice we are here. " ma'am, we are here" the driver call out for me. "oh, sorry". I paid him and enter the hospital. " Sarah, here" Mia my co worker waved her hands. " I again late" " yeah, miss Warren is very angry at you, it's been only a week of your joining and you are coming late everyday" she said. Uff guys what can I do, I was never a morning person, I can't get my ass of my bed in the morning. I sighed it's going to be another bad day. It's lunch time and we are going to the cafeteria when we meet doctor Samuel, okk he and Mia is dating. I greet him. Okk I got a friend here, Mia and I don't know what will happen if I don't find her. " Sarah, have you met your house mate?" she ask while eating. "not yet" " you know my aunt was telling me another day your house mate is kinda weird" " how??" " he is very mysterious always wears hooded clothes and shades. He doesn't involve with people and I don't much but he is kinda popular of his mysterious lifestyle." " why you take this house ,I mean there are so many here" ask Dr Samuel. " ok I had little time to find a house so I took it through online and already paid advance of three months." Though I like the house but I have also heard of the rumours. One of my neighbor thinks my house mate is a vampire. For God sake man, rumours should be a limit. Mia is very concerned for me and somehow I feel happy at least someone is here who cares for me. Mom and Uncle Jack were against of my coming here, totally a unknown place. Uncle Jack even offer to help me find a better hospital but I denied. And I decided to do something on my own this time. It is evening and my duty is over. What a dreadful day it was , the only thing I want now is going to home and embrace my bed.
