CHAPTER 13
The work on the wedding cake was going well. Katie made the cake and decorated it with pink and yellow icing flowers. She took the small chair, from the craft store, and anchored it to the top of the cake with three extra-long toothpicks. She put icing flowers around the bottom of the chair so the toothpicks were unable to be seen.
She took the groom with bendable arms and legs; and, after bending the legs at the knees, she placed it in the chair. She adjusted the arms so they would fit around the bride. She bent the bride’s legs and placed her in the groom’s lap. She had her leaning back against the groom, with her head on his shoulder. She placed the groom’s arms around the bride, holding her in place. She ran a string around the bride and groom, under their clothes and tied
