Zachery called his dad after being released from debriefing. He was finally finished with questions. He still did not understand what the questioners were looking for, but he was glad it was over. Now he could concentrate on Charise and building his swimming pool.
“Hi, Dad,” said Zachery.
“Hello,” said Senator Langley Willis. “Have they released you?”
“Yes, the questions are finally over. They told me I could pick up my discharge papers Saturday morning at nine. The only problem with that is I wouldn’t have time to get to Joey’s wedding. Are you still okay with Duncan flying me to Sharpville?”
“I have already told him to be standing by. He’ll be at the base waiting for you; as soon as you get your discharge papers, he will fly you to Sharpville,” said Senator Willis.
