As I stepped into Jared’s apartment, I made my way up the stairs to his room, fully aware that he wasn’t home. We had chatted few days ago, and he mentioned that urgent pack business had come up, requiring him to travel for three days on short notice.
Exhausted from the day's events, I slipped under the warm duvet, eager to find some rest. I closed my eyes, hoping to drift off quickly. It had been such a long, tiring day, and I desperately needed sleep.
Breathing in deeply, I surrounded myself with Jared’s familiar scent, feeling comfort and bliss as I fell into a deep slumber. The thought of coming here after the incident with Paul, only to find out through Jared’s text that he had to rush off to Seattle for three days made me a bit sad and also made me miss him the more.
