Birthday or MATE Day or both part 1

…Mona POV

"Yasss chick its ya birthday" its ya birthday and were going to get you mated, Lana sang, as she was getting out of bed, I couldn't do anything but laugh little did she know last night we sat up and had a pamper party sleep over and once she went to sleep I sat by my window and prayed to the moon goddess that she bless not only me but Lana as well with a mate tonight.

We got ourselves together to head down stairs as soon as we exit my room, I knew for sure Hanna the cook had made my favorite cinnamon hot cakes, I was so engulfed in my thoughts and the smell that I ran straight into my father.

"whoa" Hey Mona belle happy birthday using the nickname he gave me, I see your in a hurry this morning something on your mind "he asked"? 

"Just excited about my birthday dad I say"

"I see" Well I was coming up to your room because you know I always a birthday morning gift for my Mona belle, he says while hold his hand out with a red box in his hand with the most beautiful pink bow tied around it.

"I scream" Grabbing the box, what is it daddy?

Open it and see "he say"

I open the box and find the most beautiful necklace with an ebony opal pendent on it, I start to cry, he grabs me and holds me, now now its your birthday I don't want to see anything but happiness you hear me? he asked I shake my head yes and dried my eyes my father was so good to me and even though I don't have a mate yet he never lets me forget that I'm worthy of a mans love.

"Ok honey" I'm gonna go finish helping your mom with the plans for tonight, there are gonna be a lot of alphas here tonight, so I have some things to take of and who knows your mate might show up he said with a smile that told me he knew something I didn't.

" I head down the stairs to find Lana she ran ahead of me when I stopped to talk to my dad, I know just where to find her in the house kitchen eating her butt is so greedy but I cant talk I can eat myself and the party is not till 8pm so we have plenty of time to work it off.

As soon as I rounded the corner the smell of them hot cakes had me ready to eat everything in the kitchen but I was not ready for the spread that was laid out it was for sure my birthday, Hanna outdid herself this time she made everything from bacon, eggs, sausage, Hot Cakes to muffins, cheese grits and potato's I was in pure heaven, I look to my right and find Lana with a angry scowl on her face.

"Good Morning Mona" HAPPY BIRTHDAY I hear Mrs. Hanna say.

"Thank You Mrs. Hanna, and what's wrong with you Lana?

I told her the birthday eats first, she came in here like a starving child ready to eat up everything Mrs. Hanna said while laughing and shaking her head at Lana. 

You let me eat any other time Hanna say, acting like she has an attitude but really we both love Hanna to death, so I throw a piece of bacon at Lana and tell her to dig in we have much to do to get ready for my party tonight so we sit have our breakfast and discuss our plans to beautify ourselves for tonight's festivities. 

"I cant wait" and in my mind I could get that dream I've been having about my Mate even though I cant clearly see his face I know he's the most handsome man I've ever seen, I'm determined to find him and with any luck he will be at my party tonight along with Lana's Mate she so deserves this as much as I do and I truly hope the moon goddess will bless us both.
