''Your gonna be 19 in a week!'' I say to myself looking in the mirror. As I peel my clothes away to ready myself for a bath looking at the full woman I have become with full breast, thick, hips for days and doe shaped eyes courtesy of my mother and skin that looks like it has been lightly sun kissed and yet I have no MATE time is ticking. I have to find him I can no longer ignore the stories I hear from my bestfriend Delana how some of the pack say they wonder if ill ever find a mate or what will happen if to the pack if I don't but Lana is the first to put them in there place, she's a sure firecracker an don't take any s**t from no one especially if its about me. I love her dearly and wouldn't trade her for the world. Be that as it may she too has yet to find her Mate at 18 years old and its hard to believe because she's stunningly beautiful lana's mom is bestfriends with my mom and now lana and I are bestfriends.
I can feel my wolf Kymona grow more and more antsy by the day with growing desires to have her mate and I definitely understand how she feel because I to have a hunger as well. As I ease myself into the hot water and my body begins to relax I just sit still for a while enjoying the steam. Not long before my mind starts to drift visions of my mate start to invade my mind. however I'm not able to make out his face clearly but I cant ignore the shivers he gives my body and as I'm lying here my hands begin to travel down my center till I reach that tender spot that makes my body feel like I'm on fire. I rub softly enjoying the feeling its giving while not understanding why I'm doing this and I've never done it for this long before but something inside me wouldn't let me stop as I was feeling pressure building deep within and the moment I felt like an explosion was coming..... "knock knock" (s**t) I quite my moans and try to steady my breathing hoping no one heard me.
Mona?....Mona my mom calls again "yes mom" I yell trying hard to sound normal. "what are you doing in hear" she asked, causing my cheeks to redden from embarrassment.
"Well I was walking past your door and I could hear noises coming from within your room are you sure your ok" yes mom I'm fine just having a bath.
"Baby girl its time we find you a mate, I may be your mother and Luna but even I know a girl has needs and so does our pack me and your father aren't getting any younger and our pack needs a new Alpha and you as their Luna now you might not want to talk about this but its time we find your MATE and your birthday party is where we will start our hunt for your Mate and our new Alpha..... "Mom you don't have to tell me twice let the hunt begin... Goodnight mom... "Night Mo" my mom said using my nick name as she walks out the door closing the door behind her.
I climb out of the tub and dry myself off wondering how I didnt hear my mom come into my room and make it all the way to my bathroom door, surely she heard me as embarrassment wash over my face at the thought even though she didnt really bring it up im sure she knew what I was doing, I ready myself for bed clear myself of my thoughts and let sleep take over for tomorrow we start to plan my birthday bash, I pray the moon goddess will also be as kind to allow me to find my MATE...
"As the sun peaks into my room im awaken to the smell of bacon and cinnamon hot cakes, "mmmm" I say out loud with the biggest smile on my face.
"Hungry as usual I see" I jump up only to find lana smiling down at me.
"What are you doing hear so early" I ask
"Umm Mo-Mo" please tell me you didn't forget we were going to go shopping this morning for what we would wear to your birthday party, I mean we are looking for our mates...Right...?
"No" lana how could I forget I want to look my best.
"Me too I cant wait" lana said with much excitement.
"Now don't be trying to out shine me" I laugh only playing with her.
"how could I you know nothing ever looks that good on me.
"Really lana you know you are stunning in everything"... its crazy to me how lana never saw her own beauty, here she was at 5'5, 18, thick, skin the color of honey, auburn red hair the curves on this girl looks like she was raised in a gym, lana was tough but she was very much also a sweet heart and any man would be lucky to have.
While I'm getting dressed I change the topic by telling lana about my mom walking in on me, while she sitting crying laughing I'm looking at her praying the moon goddess helps her find her mate as well.
Lets go eat "I say pulling lana away from her ball of laughter, lets go she said holding her tummy like she's starving I shake my head "this girl"
As we enter the pack house kitchen we see lance and lenny already stuffing there faces at the table, I call them my brothers from another mother, they are my fathers beta Larry sons, they love me and lana to death and will protect us at any cost and the closest thing I have to brothers hell they are my brothers.
"sup" ladies they say in unison as we enter the kitchen, lance eyes linger a bit on lana I notice it but lana never does but sometimes I think she flirts with him as well but neither will move on it, sad because I just knew they were mates but once they became of age nothing happened so I guess lana belong to someone else because lance is 19 and found his mate some time ago but it seems he still has eyes for lana in some ways but he does love his mate as well...lenny on the other hand is 18 and found his mate on his birthday its crazy how things happen sometimes...
