Carter smiled at me, a smile that sent creeps down my body. His savage and cruel smile made me shudder. Every stance of me was in pain. My jaw. My neck. My ankle. And my heart. I didn't even had an ounce of energy left inside me to stand up from the ground to face him,  I was slumped on. My fingers gripped my jaw tenderly as the pain felt unbearable.
