"Do you think they'll know we were in here?" Link says frightened.
"I dont know but I'm taking this up with my father. I know I'm gonna get in trouble but I need to take action on it." Lydia starts walking out the door. Link runs behind her. Link closes the door behind him and catches up with Lydia.
"What are we gonna do?"
"There's only one thing we can do..." Lydia stops so Link quickly stops behind her. Lydia looks around the library and sees no one. She turns back to look at Link. "We destroy Royalty." Links eyes widen.
"There has to be another option. We cant just kill every king and queen in the world."
"What other choice do we have?" Lydia starts walking off. Link looks around nervously then follows behind her.
"Well how are we gonna pull this off anyway?" Lydia pushes the door of the library open and they both walk out and up the steps to the 3rd floor.
"That we'll plan later." Lydia reaches the big doors to the kings room. She pushes open the door quickly and the guards come out from behind the doors. The king sharply turns his head.
"Stand down men." He stands from his desk.
"Did you find the book Link was looking for?" Link moves slowly behind Lydia into the kings view. The king looks surprised. "Link, what's wrong?"
"What's 'The Finest hour'?" Lydia asks and meets eyes with the king. The king turns furious.
"There was one rule. ONE, and you broke it." His face is red from the anger.
"You didn't answer my question." The king takes a deep breath in slowly.
"You already know a lot so what's the purpose in hiding it. Me and the other royal monarchs came together and talked. We were done with all the fighting and didn't want anyone else to fight. We are done controlling people and are done being higher ups. The world is corrupt and we knew we couldn't capture everyone that causes commotion. So we decided to destroy the world and a new generation will form and it'll be better than this one."
"Thats no reason to destroy the world! Find a different way! Make the prisons bigger, anything other than destroy the world!!" Lydia is furious. Link stands behind her quiet.
"We've tried that before and it doesn't work!!"
"Then find a new way!!" They go quiet for a minute.
"We're done talking about this."
"Are we?!" Link puts his hand on Lydias shoulder. She looks back at him and he tilts his head to the side.
"Come on, Lydia." Link says and removes his hand. Lydia sighs, looks up at her father and storms out. Link looks to the King and then follows Lydia.
"We need to get more people in on this. You know more people than I do, can you get some of the people you trust the most to help us?" They stop in the middle of the hall, the big room doors close.
"Sure, yeah."
"Thank you! For now, Ill get us outfits and different things. Take this and show it to the people who need proof." She pulls the rolled up paper from the back of her dress and hands it too Link. He takes the paper and looks at it for a minute. They both nod and head down the stairs. They separate at the second floor. Link goes town to the towns people and Lydia goes to other rooms on the second floor.
-Time skip-
After both Link and Lydia get their jobs done they meet in front of the library. Lydia has a duffle bag and has changed her outfit. She went from wearing a fancy dress to now wearing a guards outfit. Link looks her up and down and blushes slightly. He tightens his grip on the rolled paper. He shakes his head.
"I got some people to help. I can show you where they live." Link states.
"Okay, good. I got us guard uniforms and weapons."
"Good."
"Well, should we start on this journey?" Lydia and Link meet eyes.
"We shall."
