CHAPTER 9
The rest of the week, Hazel and Elaina were off work and went sightseeing around L.A. They spent time at some coffee shops and then did some shopping. On Friday night, Anthony asked them if they’d go see their band play since they were in town. Hazel knew Elaina wanted to and didn’t want to make things awkward, so she agreed to tag along. They both coordinated outfits and wore matching red dreadlocks clipped in their unnaturally white hair. Hazel curled hers around her face and wore very intentionally heavy makeup around her eyes and lips.
