CHAPTER 11
The next few weeks were very hectic with preparations being made for Defined in Haze’s addition to a traveling outdoor festival for rock bands. Hazel and Elaina were going to join the band and help with the merchandise table while they did some modeling gigs with the sponsors of the tour. The warmth of summer was upon them, and Hazel took to wearing her weave-in white dreadlocks in a ponytail with the sides of her hair shaved. Elaina had a similar hairstyle but different colors. Hazel was now very publicly identified as Eric’s girlfriend and muse behind the band’s name and songs as well as being Anthony’s twin sister. She was often teased about her height in comparison to Eric’s; she was just barely five feet tall, and he was over six feet. She found that amusing and endearing,
