The pale rays of sun coming through the window were enough to wake her up. Now wide awake, Anna was gazing mindlessly at the ceiling fighting her mind's urge to relive last night's events. Eventually, she gave in and felt every terrifying detail over and over again. She was overwhelmed by fear. Not only the fear of her father's fate and of that strange entity but also the unknown that she was thrown in brutally without the slightest warning. Anna was thinking of her father, what was going to happen to him, to her. As weird as it seemed she had a strong feeling of duty towards the so-called mission that was assigned to her by that strange man. This must be a dream ! she hopefully thought. She got out of bed, did her usual morning ritual that consisted in taking a shower, dress pretty even though you might not leave the house, and take a book out of the house library down the hall and go downstairs where her father would wait for her in the kitchen with hot black coffee as always. When she got downstairs the house was a mess and her father was nowhere to be found. She felt her whole body getting weaker by the second at the realization that everything was indeed real and her family was in some weirdly dangerous circumstances that she had no explanation of. She tried to contain a panic attack and did what she knew best wrote and read. She wrote down everything that she could remember from last night. Suddenly she focused on something she remembered. She will receive help from someone that will come by the next full moon which as she searched she discovered would be in 18 days. The only thing she knew she had to do besides waiting for the help was gathering information, anything about Anathema and D-2 and her own family. As days go by she didn't found a clue. The frustration was eating her alive. From the moment she woke up until she fell asleep with a book in her hand late in the night, all she did was research but unfortunately for 14 days, she found nothing. If she was but a normal girl, not a normal human she would have given up by now, but not her.  Lexus Lexus was the heir of Anathema, a male heir. He was a quick-witted, strong and well built young man, barely one year older than Anna. He was aware of his position ever since he was born unlike other Heirs of the Keys. He trained all his life for this sole purpose. Anathema is the most beautiful place one could lay his eyes on. Being the core of everything it is divided into 12 domes. Each dome represents the essence and cultures of each world. The sole purpose of the domes existing is for the role of preservation of each World and sharing between their knowledge and understanding and even advantages. A balanced existence that shall never be disturbed for the sake of all living. Ever since I was born, unlike others who shall share my fate at some point, I was aware of the fact that someday when Time decides that my father should retire I shall keep peace of Anathema and the other dimensions and guard our Legacy. From day 1 I prepared myself for this task learning early on of our true history and Time himself. Time is a creature, a god, an entity that has the power of creating everything no matter how small or big either the amount or let's say it nice quality. He is not one of a kind, there are many others of his kind doing what he is doing, but it is uncertain how many. There are of course big differences between creations none is like the other but only ours is divided into twelve dimensions because Time believes that together they would live in chaos and eventually exterminate each other. I believe he is not entirely wrong as a few years ago there have been riots between the domes and Anathema almost fell into ruins. We are all here today thanks to all the guardians that reinstalled peace.  A few nights ago there was a rumour circulating all over Anathema that a key has been stolen. And suddenly Time had requested my presence at the palace and it seems that besides the fact that a Key has been stolen is true, the matter must be more grave than I would have imagined. I wonder what can I do, how am I of use in this kind of situation. I was looking forward to facing Time by myself, it would be the first time in centuries that he addresses in private to a mere mortal like me. Not even my father that has been an official guard for about 30 years has never had a private audience with him. They communicate solely through messengers. As I made my way to the palace gates it was already nightfall and a servant was waiting for me to show me around. As I entered the massive building made of materials out of this world, some that are not existing anymore and some that eventually will, I was shocked by it. I was walking down a great hall that led to a throne room and after passing it I got to a dark enormous room. It seemed more like a void, a dark pit in the heart of the palace. The moment I stepped into the room, the servant took his leave. I require your abilities for a very delicate matter my boy, and I think you already have a clue about it, am I wrong? I heard a man's voice but it did not sound like a human, it had a weirdly grave tone that you could not oversee easily. I almost got goosebumps.   Yes, master! It's about Earth and its recent problems. Forgive me for being rude but how can I help? I am not even a guardian yet. You will see my child...
