Journey through dimensions

This is a story like no other. As you know there are many forces in the universe, but not our old boring ones. I'm talking about the ultimate universe where all the dimensions known as myths and legends merge. That extremely special place, that keeps in balance the so-called reality, present and timeline of the dimensions is called Anathema.  Anathema is the Mother-World of everything that exists. There are 12 main dimensions, thus 12 guardians that keep the balance of time. At the beginning of time itself, these main worlds were created. Every dimension was led by a guardian, children of time. They have many names, too many to count but in all of the worlds, they are known as gods. What the inhabitants of every world believed is that they were immortal. These so-called gods were indeed mortals, but they had a very special possession forged by the only truly immortal God —Time himself. Every one of them had a key made of the bone of Time. These special keys allowed them to open a gate, a door between dimensions. These mortal gods were going to have heirs to pass down this precious heirloom and continue to protect the balance of time, like knights guarding the most fragile thing ever known.  As numerous generations perished and others rose not a single female heir was born ...until now...or so is believed. Twenty years ago the sole heir to the D-12, known mainly as Earth, Anna was born. The only daughter of a very wealthy man. As she grew up, she was quite peculiar. Her interests were many, but none did not involve a book. She was an introverted child, a very intelligent one nonetheless. She soon became a gorgeous young woman. Tall, slim, she possessed a pair of beautiful hazel eyes and pink pouty lips, quite a looker I dare to say. Her academic records were amazing but unfortunately lacking confidence she was a bit of a loner. But little did she expected her fate to be truly this extraordinarily unexpected.  Her story began one night when some intruders arrived at her castle-like home. They were only after one thing, and one thing alone ...the Earth's most powerful and most precious thing,—it's key.  As she stood in her room reading a book she heard some weird noises. Anna slowly got out of her room and went ahead down the hallway towards the stairs. Suddenly she heard the windows getting broken and heard her father's voice shouting at the thieves. Anna was now at the top of the stairs frightened. She is worried about her father who isn't the type to easily surrender. After a loud howl, the noises stopped and her father's voice was the only noise left. Worried, she went downstairs, but as she reached the middle of the staircase the house began shaking for a moment. She thought it was just a quick earthquake but she couldn't be more wrong.  As soon as she reached downstairs she realised that her father was in the enormous living room that they usually use for parties. She saw that the door was cracked open and tried to enter but was instantly blinded by a bright aura of what seemed to be a man, but who may that be ?... -You fool! How could you let this happen!? The unknown man scolded her father. His voice sent chills down Anna's spine, it seemed strangely inhuman.  - I'm really sorry, master! I think the thieves were from D-2, from Omerta! I was no match for their dark powers! said Anna's father in a trembling voice. Hearing her father like that made her heart stop for a split second. Ana couldn't believe that her hero, a wise man with unlimited wit and wisdom who knows no fear seemed now but only a mere child caught stealing candy.  -I see! However I will not accept such petty efforts, your stupidity exceeds my expectations. You are not worthy of the position you inherited, you are only a shadow of your ancestors! -Please! Let me redeem myself, master! Said her father basically on his knees.  -Bring your heir!  -Master, please! She is too young and scared of this World! Whatever it is I will do it! -Did you say her?  -Yes master I have only a daughter. -Interesting. Bring her! As Anna was hidden she heard the strange conversation between the two. She noticed that the unknown's man aura almost completely extinguished and the same light suddenly surrounded her body. It was terrifying, it felt uncomfortable and cold, but at the same time, she felt weightless. Anna's body started floating across the room straight to that man. Now, still, midair Anna was facing that man. But she somehow wasn't frightened anymore, she was feeling rather calm even daring to look him straight in the eyes. As she was floating, slowly touching the floor with her feet,she looked him up and down and remained breathless for a brief moment. He was gorgeous. A dark handsome stranger so tall and well built that he could easily tower over anyone. - So you are this man's child? he asked Anna as she landed carefully on the ground, still looking at the man. Before she could answer her father grabbed her hand and tried to pull her down on her knees. She didn't understand what was happening around her. Maybe is just a dream, she thought. - STOP IT MORTAL! LET HER BE! -Yes master! said her father as he let go of her hand, still trembling in fear. - Speak child! - Yes, I am his daughter. But who are you? Are you one of the thieves? What do you want? -One question at a time child. Moreover being the heiress it is your duty now to retrieve the stolen key. As if you fail to do so, your father shall remain locked up in the darkest pit in Anathema for all time! -What are you talking about? What key? What is Anathema? - So it seems that your father is a fool indeed. Anathema is your ancestors and all things birthplace. It is my kingdom. I shall leave and punish your father and if you wanna see him again you must fulfil your duty. As you are not aware of your legacy the Heir of Anathema shall come by the next full moon and help you. Anna was shocked because of what she was hearing. She thought that this is definitely a nightmare and she will soon wake up. She turned around to her father only to see him float around in what seemed like a dark crystal cage heading closer to the stranger. As she followed with her gaze the cage and the man, they both started to dematerialize and vanished. The poor girl lost her balance and fell on the floor shocked and terrified of what just happened. Her father disappeared and her house was a mess. She only wished to wake up from this nightmare, this horror, but she didn't. That night she fell asleep crying, wishing to wake up in her beautiful home, waited downstairs by her loving father as usual.
