We leave after welcoming the Blood Moon and Bluemoon. It's been almost three hours, and my heart still hasn't slowed down. I can't believe I have a fated mate — and that he's the Alpha of the Blood Moon.
Curiosity gets the better of me, and I start googling them, just to find out who that woman was. Even thinking about it makes me angry. How dare she stand that close to him, holding his arm like that.
He's not on any social media, so there's not much to find on him, but she's everywhere. Penelope. She works at his company. But the way she touched him — that wasn't just professional. She's clearly more than an employee. Though if there's something between them, why is he even participating in the Ceremony?
