I woke up to my phone blowing up texts and calls going off, uhhhg.

"Jazy your phone is going off."

I grab my phone and look to see who is calling me, Danny. I waited for it to stop and saw a bunch of texts from Danny.

'Where the f*ck are you!, Answer your damn phone witch!, I'm going to f*cking kill you!'

I feel my heartbeat rising.

Eli pulled me back in to him trying to calm me down but I can't because I missed a call from my mom..

"I really need to go Eli can you tell me how to get out of here."

"I'm not letting you go Jaz!"

For the first time I felt scared of Eli. I try move away from him but he doesn't let me go.

"Eli I-"

"No Jaz!"

I fidget until he lets me go.

"I'm sorry but my mom called me this morning...and Danny is blowing up my phone threatening me and I can't have him going to my house! Please try and understand that Eli." Eli's upset with me I'm not sure if it's because I'm crying or if it's because I won't stay.

"I'm not letting you go alone then, not to your crazy ass mom and not with that f*cking psycho lurking around! I will not take that chance."

"Please Eli I can take care of myself."

"NO I'M NOT TAKING THE F*CKING CHANCE! Please baby try to see it from my point of view, what if your mom hurts you even worse than she did before or what If Danny tries to mark you!"

I stay quiet not sure what to say to him, he grabs my wrist and lifts my chin up to look at him. He sees the tears falling from my eyes, he can see how hurt I am and how frustrated I am.

"I want to protect you please let me Jaz...I know your frustrated but I can't let anyone hurt you or take you from me, tell me would you actually defend yourself against your mom?"

No I wouldn't, I know I'm powerful but my mom is way stronger. I shake my head no and break down crying harder knowing I have bruises on my wrist from Eli's grip on me, I know he's just trying to protect me but this is my life.

"Jaz... please I'm sorry please don't cry I didn't mean to hurt you."

He lets me go and realizes that it wasn't only my feelings he hurt but also physically. He looks shocked and steps back siting on the bed. I walk out of his bedroom and out of his house. I hear him behind me but I just keep walking and at this point running, I get lost in thought while running feeling overwhelmed that I didn't realized that I had time walked and standing in front of my house. Danny's bike is parked out front of my house, he's leaning against it typing angrily on his phone until he picks up my sent, he looks straight at me.

"Where the hell have you been babe! You didn't answer my calls or text I thought something happened to you!" I walk up to him not saying a word.

"Hello deaf b*tch can you not hear me!"

The front door opens and my mom comes flying out of the house. Danny grabs me by the arm harsh, I know that will leave a bruise.

"Take your hands off her you filthy mutt!"

My mom yells out. Danny smirks at my mom, he obviously doesn't know who she is or how powerful she is. Danny pushes me on to the ground and sizes up my mom.

"What are you going to do about it hag!"

My mom starts chanting but before she could finish Danny grabs her by the neck, I'm already off the ground and trying to pull him away from her but with his free hand he shoves hard that I fall to the ground and this time I hit my head.

I close my eyes trying to refocus my thoughts, I clear my mind and lift my hand in the air grabbing him from here I start breaking his bones in his hand that's choking my mom, he drops her and turns to me and starts stalking towards me but I don't stop, I start breaking both of his legs and he falls to the ground but it's getting harder to focus from hurting my head and time walking here used a lot of my energy and now trying to break his bones that just heal quick is taking more of toll on me, he gets up after I can't use my magic anymore, I'm feeling lightheaded. Danny grabs my hand and breaks it in one quick snap. I scream from the pain.

Out of nowhere Eli tackles Danny to the ground and starts beating him to a pulp, my mom runs to me with for the first time since my dad passed away with worry in her eyes.

"It's okay I can fix this Jazmine just try-"

"Get the f*ck away from her lady!"

"Stay away from us young alpha or I will put you in the ground!"

"Jaz is hurt and she needs me!"

My mom's face is full of shocked I'm sure she knows.

"Mom please I need him, I need Eli pl-" I blacked out after that.

I wake up in my room, my head is aching and hand doesn't hurt as much as it did. I look for my phone but I can't find it around me, I get up and walk to my door way but I stop and hide by my wall quietly. I can hear my mom talking but to who?

"Look kid I can't let her be with you, she's a witch and your a...dog I mean wolf."

"She's my mate she is mine and she can make her own decision!" Eli's voice is deep again, I can only assume his wolf is getting closer to coming out.

"She's to important to the coven boy! She can't be with you or any other wolf! She is a witch and she will be with someone in the coven! So help me kid if you do not back off then I will burn your pack down! Besides your pack would never except her!"

I slide down on my wall pulling my knees in to me crying silently. She's pushing him away from me, she wants me to marry someone from the coven, she's going to make him reject me. I can feel my heart breaking.

"I'm more than willing to leave my pack and give up my title for Jazmine! I won't let her be with anyone else but me!" Eli's voice brings me a little peace but it's shattered from my mom's laughter.

"What do your parents think about that boy?"

"...."Eli's quiet, he hasn't told his parents about me yet.

"Exactly now see yourself out of my home and never think of my daughter again."

"Wait! What if she passes her test on Sunday? Would you let us be together."

"You really are stupid for a alpha, when she passes her test she will have a lot of guys waiting to take her hand, she might even take more than one, it's common in our coven to take two or more people in marriage but it's usually the guys that get more then the women but with as powerful as she is I'm sure she will have a lot of guys throwing themselves at her and when they do I know she will forget about you."

"....What if she doesn't pass?"

I couldn't stop myself from crying and whimpering, the guy that I'm in love with is trying to fight for me still.

"Ha! She will pass but on the off chance that she doesn't then the council will come together and more likely kick her out and I will disown her and the other covens wouldn't dare take her in and she'll be shunned by her kind and probably die from feeling disconnected. Honestly either way is fine, I mean I'd prefer her pass but it is what it is at that point." This lady really didn't care about me she only cared about the power I could contribute.

"Can I see her one more time at least?" He sounds defeated. I guess she nodded for him because I can hear him walking closer to my room, I quickly get in my bed as quiet as I could.

I see him at my door way, his eyes look bloodshot with a few tears escaping from his eyes. He walks closer to me and sits on the bed, my eyes are open taking him in.

"I will always love you Jazy."

"I will always love you too and I won't take anyone else."

He leans down and kisses my forehead, he pulls away but I grab him and pull his lips to mine.

"You will always be mine." He tells me as he gets up, I start to cry again.

"Please! Please don't go!" I scream out making the house vibrate, I could hear a few things hitting the ground I even felt my heart hit the floor shattering and my mom runs in my room shouting at Eli to get out. I couldn't stop myself from crying and shaking, I didn't want him to leave but he left anyways.

I could feel the air in the room leaving making my mom gasp for air but I didn't care anymore, my body started to feel hot so I let the air back in the room but now my window curtains were on fire. After my mom caught a lung full of air she came to me and wrapped her arms around me shushing me trying to get me to calm down, she out the fire out while still holding me, when I finally calmed down she looked at me with a smile.

"You are so powerful sweetheart and I know you'll be a good leader for your generation."

She chanted something but my head was buzzing and I fell asleep.
