"Oh tell me since you believe I have something else on my mind. Go on tell me mind reader, what's on my mind right now?"

"Well, I know that your birthday has already passed not long ago and my birthday was a few months ago.....so now that I answered that the next thing on your mind is why haven't I came to claim you."

I get up fast and start walking away wishing I knew how to time walk without having to lose focus.

Like what the actual fuc-

"Wait! Where are you going Jaz? It's already 7pm." Eli runs up to me but I start walking faster. He's obviously faster than I am, he jumps in front of me, making me stop in my tracks. I look in any other direction other than his because I don't think I can handle a rejection right now.

"Look, go ahead and reject me, but wait until after Sunday please." I told him, I can feel my eyes watering. Oh great.

He looks upset like he could actually hit something or me...

"Why do you think I would reject you? I haven't yet, have I?" I tried to walk past him but he grabs both of my arms.

"Stop walking away from me damn it! I'm trying to talk with you... please Jaz tell me why do you think I wouldn't want to be with you?"

"Because I'm a witch and your the next alpha to your pack and I know your pack wouldn't want a witch as a Luna and I would never make you choose between me and your pack..."

"Jaz...I've had this feeling since I first saw you freshman year and I couldn't know for sure until I turned 18 a few months ago. I've been in love with you for a really long time and that's not going to change."

I couldn't hold my tears back anymore, he's been in love with me since freshman year....

"Why didn't you say anything!" I shouted through my tears and started banging on his chest. He laughs at my nothearing hits at him.

"I didn't want to pressure you Jaz and you started dating that dips*it Danny. And you wouldn't have to make me choose...I'd always pick you even if it meant losing my alpha title." He grabs both of my hands and pulls them close to his face, kissing them.

"Okay, I wouldn't let you do that no matter how much I want to be with you. I couldn't let you do that, especially with you being the only child. I-I just couldn't."

Eli pulls me into him and wraps his arms around my waist, lifting me up to him, he stares into my eyes. I leaned in and kissed him, after a few seconds that felt like hours we pulled away from each other.

"I'd do anything for my pack but to choose them over you. That's just crazy and not the good kind." He chuckled out making me giggle. I can't believe this, he actually wants me...but I can't let him give up his pack for me...

"Stop thinking about that please." My eyes went wide...can he read my mind? No way.

"Can you read my mind?" I asked curiously.

"Yes, I can beautiful."

"No f*cking way!"

"Why would you doubt me? Some alphas have abilities. Did you know that? That's why I usually win fights."

"....liar!" I giggle out when he starts laughing.

"No, I can't read your mind, but it's not hard to figure out and I'm not letting you leave me until Sunday, until I talk with your mom."

"What!! Noooo sorry but your not talking to her. She will actually kill me and you."

Eli growls at what I said, but it's the truth. She would definitely kill me.

"She has plans for me to be next head of the coven for my generation and she will come after you Eli and I definitely can't let that happen."

"Then stay with me... forever. Or do your test on Sunday and let me talk to your mom after you ace your test and if she tries anything to harm you, then stay with me forever. I will not live without you Jaz, and I will never let you reject me or let anyone in my way of being with you, literally over my sexy dead body hahaha."

I nodded at him and quietly said 'okay'. He pulls me back to him and starts kissing me with all his strength, as if I'd leave him if he wasn't holding on to me. My phone started ringing.

"S*it..it's my mom..* Eli nods to me to answer my phone.

"Hello mother..."

"Where are you child?"

"I'm a little lost, but I'm still practicing."

"Get home in the next 20 minutes or don't come back until Sunday, you are a embarrassment child. How do you not know where you are at!"

"Yes, ma'am, I'll try to find my way-" She hung up on me...

I shrug my shoulders not feeling bothered by it with Eli holding onto me. He literally makes all of my pain and worry disappear.

"Wow... and I thought Danny was a dick...sorry."

"It's alright, haha...this is her being nice."

We walk back hand in hand to the small house, he leads me inside and turns on the lights to the living room.

"This place is cute outside and inside. Is this your parents house? I thought y'all would be living in the pack house." The living room has pictures of Eli throughout his childhood years, up until the most recent ones, which is from last year. I remember that grey tank, it has a wolf on it and he looked happy smiling with Clark and Mia. This was taken on the last day of school.

"My parents do, but I wanted my own place about a year ago. So I built this house. Sorry it's not that big. It only has 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms and a living room and kitchen....and a pool. It's like a basic human house, I guess."

"Yeah but you built it!....I live in a basic human house and this place is way better!"

Eli picks me up and walks us into the kitchen. He sits me on the kitchen bar stool.

"Wow, your kitchen is beautiful Eli."

"Thanks, so what would you like to eat? Other than me."

I turned a bright red, feeling my cheeks burn from embarrassment.

"Relax, I was only kidding haha I wouldn't try anything with you yet....yet."

"Oh I wasn't even thinking about anything s****l you perv, it's just shocking that you know how to cook!" I laughed out, yeah I was thinking of something s****l.

"My bad, and yeah I can cook, so what do you want a sandwich or a pizza or mac and cheese?"

My eyes widened. What the hell, that's not food!

"Babe relax, I was kidding with you."

I let out a relieved sigh.

"I'm fine with anything you want, I'm not picky just hungry...my mom was making us sandwiches and then she cut me and told me to go practice my magic and tossed my sandwich into the trash....."

After we got done eating the amazing chicken alfredo that Eli made, he took me to his room and gave me a pair of his sweat pants and his shirt and told me to go take a shower and so did, and after I got done showering it was his turn. We watched TV on his bed and talked about the spell I put on Stella and how Eli is worried about Danny coming after me, but reassured me that he would break every bone in Danny's body before he touched me again.

"Eli I'm pretty sure that Stella is his mate and honestly I wish I could see what happens when he finds out that she is his mate and what will happen to Jax because I'm sure that s*it will be funny."

"How did I get a beautiful, smart, funny, sexy witch mate?"

I shrugged my shoulders, "I guess your just lucky."

We made out for a while and then we fell asleep. I felt so comfortable in his arms like nothing bad would ever happen.
