Henry and Natalie’s situationship

~Erica’s pov ~

The following week after I and Henry started dating was one of the best week I had after the incident at the hotel. Henry is such a sweet guy he buys me gift and supports me in anyway he can but I noticed that he and Natalie ignore each other as if they don’t know about each other’s existence. I know they never had a good work relationship and they hardly talk to each other but it has become worst and I’m not comfortable with that. ‘My best friend and my boyfriend are in bad terms and I’m right in the middle of everything!. . I’ll have to talk to Natalie because I’m not happy about the whole situation, or did they have a fight or something?’. Later in the day i went to Natalie’s house since I no longer work at the pizza place, I’m always free during the day. When I got to her apartment I knocked and it took her almost 5 minutes to open the door for me. She was still on her nightwear and her hair was so messy. “Natalie you’re still sleeping by this time?” I said and laughed. “What are you doing here by this time, don’t you have this to do ?” She replied and closed the door . “No , you seem to forget that I lost my job and I’m always free in the morning. . Be ready to get sick of me”. I said and laughed. “ ha. . Ha. . So funny “. With that she threw herself on the bed and I went after her and started tickling her that she laughed so hard. “Ericaaa . . Stop!” She said, still laughing. “I’m hungry, what do you have in the kitchen?” I asked and went into her kitchen and I saw an apple and took it. “ nothing, I don’t do cooking” she replied. “ Natalie get up. . I want to ask you something “ I said and pinched her chubby cheeks. Then she got up and sat up straight on her bed. “What?” She asked. “ I’ve been meaning to ask you if you and Henry had a fight before or something because but of you don’t get along at all . It was actually bad before but it became worst this week’ what’s happening?” I said and held her hands. I noticed that her smiled dropped a little before she replied. “Nothing, you know I don’t usually get along with strangers quickly and it took the both of us almost a year before we became this inseparable”. She said and touched my chin. “ yes , I know right?. . I was just worried that my best friend and my boyfriend don’t get along “. I said “ are you guys dating now, isn’t it too fast?” She asked . “What do you mean? . . I and Henry have known each other for like 5 months now”. I replied. “ I don’t mean to be a kill joy, are you sure you know him well? What if he’s a f**k boy or a player, what if he just wants to pass time with you and then dump you later when he sees a better girl, what if . . .” I couldn’t stand what she spewing anymore so I stopped her. “Natalie. . Stop please, Henry Is non of the things you just mentioned, he is a sweet and intentional man and I love him so much. Look. . I know you’re just watching out for your best friend but I know what I want and I just want you to trust my judgment. . Okay?” I said and hugged her. “ I’m so sorry Erica, I was just worried, I don’t want you to get hurt” . She said“ I understand bestie and I love you”. Then we hugged again. We talked about a lot of things and when it was time to go to work, I waited for Natalie to dress up and we went to work together.

When we got to work, I saw my baby cleaning the table and I walked up to him and kissed him on the lips. “My love”.he said and pulled him closer to him and kissed my forehead. We couldn’t stop smiling. “ you both should get a room” Natalie said and walked into the dressing room. “Baby, we need to go back to work”. He said I let me go get changed.

We couldn’t stop staring at each other and he kept blowing me a kiss, I couldn’t stop giggling the whole night.when we were done with work, I begged Natalie to leave without me . I wanted to spend more time with Henry. She did but she didn’t look to happy about it, i understand her because I’m leaving her to walk on the lonely street all by herself, I hugged her and she left.Then I made sure my boss had gone home before I went back into the bar to be with Henry so that we won’t get into trouble. I went up to Henry and kissed him, “ hi babe” I said and kissed him again. He smiled and walked out of the counter and sat next to me. “Hope you didn’t stress yourself too much?” He asked . “No I didn’t” I replied. “ that means I can give you more work without feeling bad about it”. He said he picked me up and carried me to a couch near our boss’s office and we started making out. After sometime we noticed it was 12pm already and we had to go home. So we locked up the bar and he dropped me off at my apartment with his motorcycle. We kissed and he made sure I was inside my apartment before heading home.
