Grayson’s POV
The Omega wolf in front of me looked nervous, cowering in front of me with his neck exposed, which made me cringe.
Fang, I told you to behave. Stop scaring my dates.
Stop whoring around then, my wolf snapped back.
“You can leave if you want, little one, if you’re not in the mood anymore,” I told Daniel, the boy in front of me. He was 19, two years younger than me, and exactly my type. Tall, with a wiry frame and big brown eyes, and shoulder-length brown hair that I loved tangling my hands in.
“I’m fine, Grayson,” he whispered. “Fang just surprised me again with his aura.” He grabbed the hem of his navy blue t-shirt and pulled it over his head.
Oddly, being half-naked seemed to restore his confidence. He stood on his tiptoes to reach me, pressing his lips to mine. I smirked into the kiss, thinking about a few weeks ago when I’d caught Daniel checking me out during training. He was supposed to be delivering more bottles of water to the sparring grounds, and he had tripped over the cooler while staring my way, giving himself a nasty bruise on his shin.
“See something you like?” I asked him teasingly, his face flushing a brilliant shade of crimson as he shook his head no and hobbled away towards the packhouse. But I sought him out later, after dinner that evening.
“How’s your leg, Omega?” My voice caught him off guard, and he dropped the plate he was holding, shattering it on the wood floor.
“I’m so sorry, Beta, please forgive my clumsiness,” he said, as he bowed his head.
I reached out and grabbed his chin, tilting his face up to me. “What’s your name? I don’t remember you.”
“D-Daniel, Beta Grayson. And I just moved here from the Clear Lake Pack.”
“Nice to meet you, Daniel. May I look at your leg?” I requested, ignoring the shattered glass on the floor.
Daniel nodded, and without another word, I scooped him up and carried him to an office next door. He gasped when I picked him up, but otherwise stayed quiet.
I set him down on the desk, and shut the door behind me. “Now, let me see your injury.” He rolled up his pant leg, showing a large bruise. A higher-ranked wolf would have healed by now, but Omegas tended to heal slowly, although still faster than humans.
I traced the contours of his leg from his knee to his ankle, noting how lean his calves were. Slowly raking my fingers back up his leg, I paused again when I reached his knee, where his pant leg was bunched up.
Daniel bit his lip, letting out a breathy moan from the contact, which made me smirk. I hid it, though, not wanting to intimidate him.
“I can heal this,” I told him. “Let me do it now, but understand, I’m just healing you as a pack member. It’s my job; you don’t owe me for this.”
The Omega looked confused but nodded. I placed my hand on the bruise. Warmth flooded my fingertips, and Fang growled lowly in my head as we concentrated our strength. Within seconds, the bruise was gone.
“Thank you, Beta Grayson!” He smiled. “I hadn’t heard that you were a gifted wolf!”
“It’s occasionally useful,” I laughed. “Now that that’s out of the way, on an unrelated note, I noticed you seemed… distracted earlier. Would you like to come up to my room and get to know each other better?”
* * * *
Since that night, Daniel had gone from being a shy, timid virgin to a cute and eager little playtoy for me. He knew it wasn’t serious, and honestly, he preferred it that way.
“On your knees, Omega,” I growled at him. He obeyed and instinctively reached for the waistband of my jeans, undoing the button and tugging down the zipper like he couldn’t wait to get to his prize inside.
“Good boy,” I groaned, as he slid my c**k past his lips, his tongue flicking across the sensitive spots he had learned so well these last few weeks. I let him continue for a few minutes, watching as his soft brown eyes darted upward toward mine as he worked, seeking my approval.
Finally, I gathered the restraint to push him off my length, scooping him into my arms and carrying him to my bed. Our lips met again, briefly, before I took a step back.
“Undress,” I commanded. Daniel shimmied out of his pants and boxers, tossing them to the floor. I was momentarily distracted by how gorgeous his lithe little body was, with long arms and legs, his muscles well-defined despite being small. If I thought he was my type when I first laid eyes on him, seeing him naked only confirmed that.
I shed my clothes as well, climbing back on top of my eager Omega as he laid on his back. I reached for the bottle of lube on my bedside table, squirting it into my hand as he eagerly watched. He squirmed underneath me, impatient, and I couldn’t hide my smirk. He was such a brat sometimes. He knew he’d be punished for that next time we met.
My lube-slicked fingers found his entrance and pressed into him, eliciting a groan. Daniel cried out, making me grind against him as I fell into a familiar rhythm, stretching him out, first with two, then three, then four fingers.
He writhed against my hand, demanding more and driving me wild in the process. I withdrew my fingers and lined my length up with his entrance, thrusting into him slowly, savoring the feeling. He whimpered and screamed, but from experience, I knew he was enjoying himself, not in pain. I pumped in and out faster, appreciating the expressions of pure pleasure that crossed his features. His eyes closed in bliss as I hit the sensitive spot inside of him over and over.
“Grayson, please!” He cried out, and I knew then he was close to his release.
I smiled wickedly at him. “Beg, Daniel,” I ordered. He knew our rules. He had to ask politely.
“Please, Beta, please may I c*m?” he asked, trying hard to control himself as my unrelenting thrusts continued.
I nipped at his ear. “Yes, but no touching yourself today. I want you to c*m just from being f****d,” I licked his marking spot, where a mate’s mark would someday go, the most sensitive spot on any wolf, and he hissed. I felt him tense as his release spurted out, leaving a wet, sticky mess on both of our stomachs.
Moments later I joined him, filling him up as I came inside him. I slowed my movements and eased out of him, rolling onto my back so we could lie next to each other and catch our breaths.
I reached over to brush his hair out of his face with my fingertips, lightly trailing down his cheekbones, before I tilted his head to face me once more. We kissed, gently this time.
“Thanks, Grayson. But I better get back to work,” Daniel said. He still had duties to fulfill, and so did I. We met covertly, and once our recreational activities were over, we went our separate ways until next time.
“I also need to go to work. Don’t forget to shower first, little wolf. You don’t want everyone else to know you’ve been up here with me,” I reminded him. I knew of packs, like Daniel’s old pack, where Omegas could be forced into relationships, or even killed for mating outside their rank. Our pack has never been like that, nor were they against same-s*x relationships.
But Daniel was new to Red Oaks, and new to s*x with other men, so ironically, it was the Omega who was trying to hide his relationship with me. He wasn’t ready to answer questions about his s****l preferences to people he barely knew, especially when he was still learning about himself.
Not that I minded. It gave me more freedom to hook up with who I wanted, whenever I wanted. I’m not tied down to anyone, and was glad about that.
Manwhore, Fang grumbled in my head.
Why’d I get stuck with a boring wolf? I retorted.
He rolled his eyes. I’m not boring just because I don’t think it’s necessary to stick my d**k in everything that moves.
Not everything! Only the men, I chuckled. He rolled his eyes at me, not appreciating my joke.
Having finished my own shower while bantering with my wolf, I retreated to my office on the third floor. Our pack’s Gamma, Kade, was waiting for me expectantly. “Grayson, ay, just the man I was looking for.”
“I see you were looking really hard, Kade, sitting in my guest chair and waiting on me to show up. Ever heard of mindlink?”
“Eh, you made our whole floor reek of s*x, so, figured there was no point in rushing you, and you’d be down when you were finished,” he laughed.
I rolled my eyes. “Yeah, yeah. At least I’m having fun. Keep it quiet, though. The kid I’ve been hooking up with isn’t out to the pack yet.”
“And when you say kid…”
“For Goddess’s sake, he’s 19, I’m not a monster!” I snapped at him.
“Poor word selection on your part, bro. Not my fault. Anyway, Julien wants us to meet him at Clear Lake Pack this weekend for a mating ball. There’s a dinner and dancing and a few wolf runs.”
Kade had barely gotten the sentence out before I growled. I hated the idea of these events, even though this would be the first one I actually had to attend. They were a constant reminder of the curse we wolves were under, and I thought they made us weaker to our outside enemies. Julien had been away at Alpha training since our senior year of high school, so we’d been spared from attending them in his absence. But it seemed now that he was set to take over the pack next month, the quest for a Luna was beginning.
“Do we have to?” I asked, irritated, it was already Thursday, and we’d have to leave by early Friday morning to get there in time for dinner. It was considered rude to just show up for the events on Saturday, unless you were a neighboring pack. Which we weren’t. Networking and socializing and all that was viewed as important to other packs.
“Yup. He said if you don’t go, he’ll Alpha-command it. Said he doesn’t want to be there by himself and his parents are making him go.” I snorted. Of course they were. They were obsessed with the idea of him having little pups running around the packhouse.
“I guess at least it will be nice to see him,” I said, resignedly. Julien had come home a handful of times since he’d left, but it had been a few months. The training camp was year-round and was pretty strict about traveling.
“And as long as you don’t meet your mate, I’m sure you’ll find a nice boy to take back to your room and boss around,” Kade snickered.
I laughed. “You make it sound like I corrupt them.”
Kade raised an eyebrow at me. “I’m just grateful to the Goddess that I’ve resisted your charms so far.” We both laughed before heading back to our rooms to pack.
