27. Trouble

Danica rolled over hitting herself in the face against the back of the sofa, snuggling into the warm blanket. She shot right up, realising that she wasn't where she had drifted off. Her head spun as she tried to focus on her surroundings, taking in everything around her. "You're up," a gruff voice said from across the room as he shuffled over. "About time, now, eat." he ordered placing a plate on the tea table. She starred at the plate, it wasn't something she was expecting, in front of her sat a half a pounder cheese burger. She instantly picked up the burger as her stomach rumbled. Taking a big bite into the still hot burger, "Thank you," she said around her overly stuffed mouth. The man took a seat in his old worn out chair, "You shouldn't be thanking me, thank my son." He told her.
