Tritania P.O.V Well my name is Tritania, a half blood vampire. I live in the muggle world or the human world, my dad is a vampire while my mum is naturally born as a human, but now she is a vampire. She decided to turn a vampire after she gave birth to me. But since I was born a human I'm a “half blood”.I am the only child of my parent ——————————————— I woke up early in the morning to have my morning run,which is more of climbing. My parents live around the woods to protect us from being discovered as vampires I kept running, till I heard a branch c***k. I quickly climbed a tree, it was those scout kids..they were singing and clapping ..they were cute, seeing the humans in a nice form. I love human kids...almost immediately the branch I was standing on snapped and quickly I was hanging by my tongue. It was very long and thin, one of the kids looked up at tree. My tongue couldn't hold any longer then my saliva made my tongue harder to hold on to the tree branch then a drop fell on the child and the child collapsed and turned really pale—white as snow, like her blood was being drained. I hesitated and quickly jumped on another tree, while the other scout girls called out to the little girl who just collapsed. Their teacher touched her and checked her heart rate and she started crying. I knew what she was crying for, the poor child had died and it was all my fault. "Nothing mum.", I replied,as the tears kept rolling down I noticed she didn't believe me. I walked upstairs to my room and locked the door. I cried and cried my eyes out I'm a horrible person,what have I done? I can't believe I killed a poor innocent child who knew nothing. Even though I didn't mean to, I feel really horrible inside. I'm a monster. I looked at my mirror. I tried to make my tongue appear as long as it was before but it was just back to normal. I have never seen my dad do this. I've been with other vampires and they don't have this power. "Am I cursed?" "Am I sick?,is something wrong with me"I asked myself as I heard a knock on the door. “It's me your mother.” my mum said. “Mum I said I'm totally fine, I wanna be alone for now.” I said. “Okay darling, but I just want you to know Max is downstairs.” mum says. I unlocked my door and looked at my mum, “Mum let him come upstairs to my room, why is he waiting downstairs” I said. “I called him here, I told him you seemed really upset. I asked if he could you out since you guys are besties from childhood.” mum said. “Mum I'm seriously fine, but let Max come upstairs. You can't keep my bestie waiting downstairs.” I said trying to fake a smile I could see my smile reassured my mum that I was fine, she smiled back. Mum headed downstairs while I saw Max coming upstairs. He saw me and sniffed me, then he sat on my bed telling me to sit beside him, I closed my door and sit beside him. “Why are you sad?” Max asked. "I'm fine!,seriously.” I said smiling. But I knew my smile won't prove anything, Max is a werewolf he could sense emotion, I guess that was why he sniffed me. “Seriously Tritania what's wrong?” he asks again. “I'm a horrible person,a very terrible person.” I said. “Why would you say that,firstly you're not human,secondly you're definitely not horrible” he says. “I killed someone,i killed a human child ”. I said crying. “What the hell? Why would you do that? Were you that hungry, you sucked a human blood? I thought your dad prohibited you from sucking their blood.” he said all at once. “Not that Max, I killed the human another mysterious way Max leaned closer with curiosity in his eyes and I explained the whole thing to him. His eyes widened. “How's that even possible?” he said. “I don't know, I feel different like I have a new power and I have tried to do the tongue but I can't do it, my saliva was really venomous,it dried the human child. I don't think I want to even turn my tongue back to that.” I said. “Does anybody know about this?” he asked. “Of course not,i can't even tell mum,she'll freak out,I have no idea what's happening to me” I said crying. “Come on don't cry, I hate it when my friend cries. It's not your fault, you didn't kill the child intentionally. Mistakes happen, just make sure nobody knows until we find out how to fix you or learn more what's going on with you ” he said. I cheered up a bit and smiled. Max and I have been friends since childhood. Now, I'm 17 and he's 19. He turned to a wolf for his first time on his eighteen birthday. It wasn't a memorable one,no one speaks of it. “Earth to tritania!” he yells. Then I realized I've been lost in thought “What!,I was thinking..” I said “Chill!!,Nothing is wrong with you, I'm sure you're fine,you're my perfect little bestie Let's go have dinner.” he assured. "I wonder what mum is cooking "he asked "You love food so much,probably more than me" I said he laughs as we walked downstairs
