NOT ALL THAT GLITTER ARE GOLD

Once upon a time, there lived a poor man with his wife and his son. The poor man was very hardworking. He works hard the whole day and brings money to his wife at the end of the day. The wife prepares yummy recipes for both the husband and his son. They happily enjoy the food and sleep for the night with lots of dreams in their thoughts. The poor man's son was a very young innocent boy. He plays with his friends the whole day. His friends also share the things brought from their homes. They happily spend time sharing things and playing with them. In the same village, there lived a rich man who sells gold jewelry. The rich man's face is always filled with pride. The rich man has a son who is a very arrogant child. He treats everyone based on rich and poor status. One day, the poor man's son was playing on the road. His eyes fell on the jewelry shop which is on the road and was surprised to see all the stunning gold jewelry. The poor man's son started thinking, how beautiful the jewelry is. He started imagining how happy the rich man's son would be in that home with all the luxurious items and worldly pleasures. The rich man's son observed this and thought the poor boy came to steal something. He scolded the poor boy and asked him to leave the place. The poor boy felt sad. He thought to become rich like the rich man. One day, when the rich man was having his lunch, the poor boy went inside the shop to ask for some work over there. The rich man, who required a worker, immediately appointed the poor boy to the work. The poor boy felt very happy. He started working there regularly. Days passed, he used to see that the rich man mistreating his son and scolding him for spending money. The poor boy, then realized that the situation of the rich boy that he imagined was quite different from reality. One day, there happened a police ride in the shop. The police came to arrest the rich man who was selling fake gold jewelry to the people and cheating his customers. The rich man pleaded with the police to forgive him, but it was of no use. The rich man's son who doesn't know what was happening, his life fell into a miserable state and then realized how foolishly he behaved with others based on class and status of the people. On that day, the poor boy who was observing all this went to his home and said " Mother, today I got to know the reality that whatever we see and imagine about others, can't be true. I thought that the rich man's son is having a lot of money, so he would be very happy. But I got know that it is not true. I thought that the rich man leads a luxurious life, but today got to know that he became rich by cheating others." The poor boy started saying, "Mother, today I learned a great lesson that All that glitters are not Gold." The mother felt very happy that his son learned the most valuable lesson of his life. The poor boy now started to see the world based on humanity instead of money and status.
