Grandma’s face drained of color and she went rigid in her chair. Her eyes rolled back. I looked at Mom, alarm clearly displayed on her face. “A vision?” I whispered. She nodded and reached for Grandma’s hand. She squeezed it gently. “Mom, are you okay? What’s happening?” Grandma’s head snapped forward and she gasped. “He’s coming. Go, Clara. Into my office now and stay there until I come get you.” Mom jumped up from the table. “Go, Clara.” I froze. I couldn’t move. They both looked freaked out. “Clara!” Grandma shouted. “Quickly. There’s no time.” Mom pulled my chair back and helped me up. “Go on, love. It’ll be fine. Do what your Grandma says.” “But…,” I spluttered. “No buts. Just go. Please,” Mom said.
