I want out of my contract. Why is noone answering me?!
The leaves crunched beneath my feet as we ran. Our hands locked together as if life depended on it. I glanced back at them.  The squeal of tires shrieked their vehicles to a halt. “Julie Marie Millbank. You get back here!” My mother's cries only tightened my grip on him. “Liam..?”  Narrowly, we dodged people as we flew recklessly through the park. Their shouting faded behind us, but still, we couldn't stop.  “Just keep running, they can’t follow us through here.” Unable to respond, I nodded.   “Just hold on tight.”   Everyone around us was looking, watching us run as if hunted criminals.  My cheeks flushed, burning with embarrassment.  This is going to be everywhere by tomorrow.  I can only hold on to the glimmer of hope that no one recognizes us.  But of course, that's too much to ask. An officer blocked our path, hand raised.  “Hold it right there!” Great, now we really look like criminals. Leaving the open area of the park, Liam darted down one of the many weaving paths through the trees. Practically dragging me along. My lungs burned in the biting air as I struggled to keep up. Mind reeling at this egregious level of overreaction.  What should be a happy announcement has us on the run, as if for our lives.  And in the public eye, no less.  Me, the heiress to “Millbank Enterprises” being hunted down by the police and trapped in the park. Holding hands with my would-be ‘mortal enemy’. The paparazzi are going to just have a field day with this one, I’m sure. We've been so good at hiding this from the public these past few months, I'm now struggling to remember why we told them. With my mind elsewhere, I bumped into Liam who stopped suddenly. Knocking from me what breath I had left. Before us stood the same officer, now joined by two others, blocking our way.  ” Leave us alone!” Liam barked. The trees themselves seemed to tower over us. Their leaves, a bloody rouge, swirled around the concrete.  I huddled into his back. Reveling in the warmth as his arm covered me. “Liam.” I whimpered again. “I-I don't think we're gonna-.”  From behind, my mother's cry raked up my spine. “Julie Marie! You stop right there!”  Her pitch, I'm sure, would have dogs barking.  Then another unwanted voice joined hers.  “You release that creature's hand, this instant!”  “Oh, for god's sake” Liam grunted, backing away From the approaching officers. Everyone, cornering us on the narrow path. We’re trapped.  His mother, Helen Vonrough pushed through the crowd with no regard for others, even her own husband. Those blazing eyes alone had me dizzy.  Liam turned to face her head-on as I held my death grip on his shirt.  “We haven't done anything wrong!” He shouted.  “Now you can't be serious darling.” Helen scoffed. “Who do you think you are? How can you stand there with that… thing and expect anything else? Especially when you dare announce such an abomination in my home, of all places. You're lucky we haven't gone farther than this, you know.”  My father stepped forward, pushing aside my delirious mother. “You got that right, at least.  I will not have this young lady. I simply will not have it!” The fury in his voice frightened me, but I steeled myself to remain.  Liam's arm pulled me closer, protecting. “You are not marrying that boy. And I think you know that. If this is some sort of rebellious stunt, you're pulling you've made your point and I've had enough. Now let's go home.” Beckoning me to come. He waved his arm, as if to a pet.  His eyes darkened dangerously when I refused to move, pushed further behind by Liam's arm. “She's. Not. Going. Anywhere.” He growled. “Excuse me!?” Rushing forward, my father's temple looked about to burst. “Now you listen to me you little s**t- “ “-Hey!” Helen interrupted, mouth straight as a blade. “You don’t speak to my son like that.“  She spat, pointing her perfectly manicured nail at me. “In fact If your little witch wasn't such a w***e, we wouldn't have this problem would we?”  “Mom-!” Liam roared, making me jump.  “If you don't shut your mouth...”  Even from behind, I can tell the look in his eye was much more deadly than any of theirs.  “Youll what? “ Her eyes narrowed, challenging.  He then turned around, ignoring her further, and faced the police. “What are you here for exactly?”   The men straightened to attention. Their leader showing his badge, he motioned to our parents. “We were called on the allegations of a possible kidnapping.”  “k********g?!” I laughed nervously. In response, Liam pulled me to his hip before taking my left hand in his. Showing to them my latest treasure. “We‘re engaged.” Hearing it out loud still made me smile. “We're engaged. They just insist on dumping their issues on us. They can throw a fit like the children all they want but it won't change the fact that we're getting married. ”  “The hell you are!!” My father shouted before rushing over like a rabid animal. Punching Liam in the jaw without a second thought, throwing him to the ground. ”Liam!” Rushing to his side I helped him sit up. He licked the blood from his bottom lip, before pushing me away. Charging headfirst into his stomach, he brought my father down with a thud. Grunting and growling like dogs as they wrestled. Throwing aimless punches. Moments later the officers were on top of them both, grunting with effort as they dragged them apart. Revealing their faces, now bloody and bruised. I rushed to his side once more, tenderly checking his injuries. “Are you ok?”  To my surprise, he managed a cocky smile.  “You kidding? That old man can‘t punch for shit.”  The two officers struggled to hold my father back. “Why, you little!”  “Oh just try it!” Liam grunted, only forcing the officer to drag him further away.  “Stop, it's enough.” Seeing me cry is what finally made him stop. Standing straight, he took a calming breath. “She's right son. You try anything more and we'll have to take you with us too.”   Nodding in understanding, Liam apologized.  Even now released, Helen approached.  The fires of hell following behind.  “Why of all the useless, backwards idiocy! Go help those men take the real delinquent away. He assaulted my son! Where is your head?!”  Then, to my dismay, her attention turned to me.  If looks could kill, I'd be rotting six feet under.  “Give. me. that. ring.”  She spat each word as if it was sour in her mouth.  With no satisfying response, her hand swiftly raised high above ready to strike. My eyes shut tightly, reveling in my last painless seconds.  Liam forced himself between us, invoking a squeak from her throat. “How - How dare y-”  He stepped into her, their faces mere inches apart.  To my left, even the officer averted his gaze with a silent whistle. “If you so much as touch a hair on her head. I swear mother, you will live the rest of your days without a son.” Leaving her mouth open, gaping like a fish out of water.  Before the color in her face had a chance to return he took my hand, leading me away.  Not a drop of hesitation in his step.  Once she began to protest, the officer blocked her path. Allowing us to leave. The wails of frustration only escalated the further we got.  It was then I noticed, his hand shaking around mine. “Liam..are you-”  “It's fine.” The drying blood smeared around his face would suggest otherwise, but as he continued to pull me along urgently, I sensed it may be best not to push him.  We walked in silence for what felt like hours before he slipped his phone from his pocket. After hastily dialing, a mumbling voice picked up.  It was extremely hard to make out. I leaned closer, attempting to hear what was being said but whoever they are, they sounded pissed.  “Ok. ok. Just...when can you get there?”  Confused, I stopped walking for a moment, drawing his attention. He merely glanced back at me, confused that I stopped but didn't comment and continued his call. I winced softly when his grip hardened around my fingers.  “Yea, I guess- No. Hey. Look, there's nothing I could do about that.“ His face tightened. The voice on the line continued to shout incoherently. “Alright! alright, well be there. Just give us a minute.” With a click, the voice was gone. My hand, finally released.  “Who was that?” I asked, rubbing at my sore hand.  Liam only smiled, putting his phone away with a shrug. “Called in a little favor.” Confusing me. That's not what it sounded like to me. “What favor?” Tilting my head up gently, my question was silenced with a soft kiss.  How is it he always smells like fresh pine? With a hum, I returned the favor.  My arms laced around his neck of their own accord. Pulling me from my thoughts, he leaned into my ear.  “It's a surprise.” He whispered. That voice sent a warmth up my body like even a fire never could, making my mind melt. “Ok.” I smiled.  With his arm over my shoulder, we continued walking.  The path stretched on far ahead. I don't know exactly where we're going but if it's with him. I'll go anywhere.  Finally away from the public, we can relax.  Seagulls squawked above our heads, my senses soon drowning in the delightfully salty smell. Just ahead, the concrete path ended at a pier.  Waves crashed below reaching desperately from below, making the wooden docks along the harbor moan.  Collecting my hair from the wind, I turned to Liam. His face plastered with that big goofy grin. Stretching his arms above his head, he cracked his neck.   At least now we can relax with the knowledge that everybody knows about us.  We don't have to hide our relationship anymore. Not from anyone.  Liam checked his watch. Prompting my question.“So, who are we waiting for?”  He raked a hand through that dark unruly mane of his. “Should be here any minute now.” Taking out his phone again, he opened the camera. Inspecting himself. Laughing at the mess he saw. “Oh man, really got tussled back there didn’t I?” Hesitantly he touched his lip. The bleeding stopped and is only partially swollen. I winced at the sight. “I'm so sorry about that. I knew he'd be mad. But I never expected that.”  With a shrug, he continued to fiddle with his lip. Poking at it with his tongue.  “Ah, don't worry about it princess. I went easy on him, don't you worry. Wouldn't want anything to happen to my dear father-in-law now, would I?”  Coaxing an involuntary smile from me.  Having fixed himself up, he took my hand gently. Kissing my fingers. My cheeks flushed at the sudden affection. “My girl...” he hummed quietly.  Lifting my arm up, he twirled me around. Drawing me close to himself.  That gaze was intense and burning. Cold fingertips grazed my cheeks, brushing aside the flailing loose hair that clung to the corners of my mouth.  Oh my god, I hope I'm not drooling. Those hazel eyes drew down to my mouth, paralyzing me with anticipation. The warmth of his breath drew me in. My eyes fell closed by themselves, eagerly awaiting that euphoria of affections one can only receive in a moment like this.  A sudden obnoxious honking jarred me from my thoughts. After holding back a scream, I managed to gather myself together. Quickly wiping the corner of my mouth. I watched intently as Liam immediately left and approached the vehicle. “There he is.”  The sudden change in mood makes me feel like the lost moment was just in my head. “Took you long enough.” With a knuckle, he knocked on the nearly black windows. The window scrolled down slowly, just enough for Liam to see inside. Maybe it's one of his friends? or security guys? Yea, that makes the most sense probably. Especially if they're doing him a favor like this. If they're going to take us somewhere warm, I don't really care who it is. Giving up on my speculation for the moment, I turned to the water. Watching the waves roll and curve like a dark fabric.  Now that everyone knows, I wonder what it's going to be like? It'll be strange walking in public like a regular couple after all these months of secrecy. And with our parents reacting the way they are, the wedding will certainly be nothing like I thought. My long flowing white gown, clingy in all the right places. Elegant roses wrapped in lacy white fabrics. Warm candles all around in glass vases. And my father, walking me proudly down the aisle to the man of my dreams. My fingers fidgeted with the ring as reality set in. Right now I'm sure, he is more likely to be taken to prison for murder charges than walk me down that aisle. Never thought I'd have to do that part alone.  Glancing back, Liam was still talking with the driver. “Guess it could be worse.” I sighed.  It's not like I'm really alone. If he can't accept the man I love, then that's fine.  That is. Perfectly. Fine. “Don't need him anyway.” Filling my lungs with another wash of salty air, I cleared my racing mind.  “Boo!” Hands grabbed at my sides, tickling. Ripping a squeal from me. Arms flailing, I tried to escape. “S-Sto-stop!” I cried, laughing uncontrollably. He stopped just as my eyes began to water. Finishing with an apologetic kiss on the cheek. “Close your eyes.” Raising a brow I closed them as instructed. What an i***t.  What sounded like plastic rolling along the concrete came from my side. Stopping just in front of me, followed by three more. Of course, I'd have to be crazy to not recognize that familiar sound. Heart bouncing eagerly, my curiosity peaked.  Maybe I can just take a small- “Ah, ah no peeking.” He scolded, making me giggle. The sound of crinkling paper pulled at my curiosity again. “What is it? Common.”  His voice was strained as if pulling on something that was stuck.  “Just, one more.” Mere seconds passed before my groaning escaped. “Ugh, Liam!”  “Ok.” Some last rustling sounds came from him before I opened my eyes.  Around him were four large red suitcases. Beautifully decorated in golden roses. Spaced and arranged in a half-circle. He had put on a dress jacket over his shirt and matching black leather shoes. But in his hand offered to me was the most curious item of all, two tickets. I took them hesitantly. “What are these?”  “Prepare yourself for the coolest, most romantic cruise you've ever been on.” Looking up I had no answer. Having received no reaction he continued.  “I booked us a four-day Halloween themed cruise to elope on.” My heart stopped. “Elope?”    “Well, you didn't think the ol’ V man wouldn't have a backup plan did you?”  No way he's serious.  “We can't elope. They may be crazy but I would like someone I know at our wedding, Liam.” Looking nervous, he placed his hands on my shoulders.  “But you will. I'll be there, won't I? You're all I need, am I not enough for you?”  Oh, those eyes… “You know that's not what I mean I just-” Hold on, one damn minute. “Did you say Halloween themed?” I groaned. Hoping I merely heard him wrong, I pinched the bridge of my nose. Anxiously he scratched at his head. “Well, they were the only ones leaving today with space available. And with Halloween this Friday…” Looking up, I made sure to look as unapproving as possible but he pretended not to notice. “Plus I contacted the captain and he said he would marry us as a special event aboard the ship in front of everyone. It's going to be amazing, Jules.  I'll make sure of it.” Biting my lip, I stared at the concrete. “I dunno.”  Sensing the cracks in my rejection, he continued to peck away.  “Just trust me, I promise you. It'll be everything you ever dreamed and more. ”  Not everything. Turning from him, I huddled into my jacket. The clouds rumbling above.  “But what about-“ “It's planned.” “But I don't have a-” “In your bag.” “But how about-” “It's all taken care of.” My god. He's serious.  Quickly he checked his watch again, sucking in a sharp breath.  “Oh geez. If we're gonna make it In time we need to get moving, princess”  “Well, hey wait a second-” Grabbing the bags, Liam rushed to load them before I could protest any further.  Releasing an audible sigh I saw no other choice but to go along. Especially now that drops have begun to fall. Once at the car, I tried to see who was driving but the windows are so dark I can't help but consider if it's even legal.  Even from just a few feet away, I can't see inside. I've seen all of Liam's guards and drivers before, so why is this one hiding? It feels very unnerving, for lack of a better word. But if I could just see who it is. leaning in closer, an arm cut me off. “Here, allow me.”  Like the gentleman he is, Liam opened the door.  “Oh, Thank you” Ducking my head in, I nearly caught a glimpse of a face but the driver turned away as if ashamed. Surely though he must know who I am. “Hello.” With no answer, I cleared my throat. Trying a little louder. “Hello?”  To my shock, a black divider raised between us, cutting me off. Well of all the- The passenger door slammed shut as Liam shuffled in beside me.  “Alright then, let's head out” With two soft taps on the divider, we were on our way.  Leaning into him, I lowered my voice. Feeling strangely self-conscious.  “Who is that guy? Why won't he talk to me?”  Tilting his head, Liam seemed confused.  “Oh, Malcolm? He's just quiet. Been with my family for years. He's actually the only one who was willing to help me so last minute. Especially after today's... fiasco back there.”  Every so slightly I relaxed. I guess that makes sense. Still gives me a weird feeling. But I could just be paranoid after today's events.  “I can't believe we're doing this.” I sighed. Liam looked at me sadly.  “You still want to get married don't you?”  With a frustrated sigh, I dropped my head in my hands. “Of course I do. I just never thought it would be like this. My father hates me and you. My mother won't be there.  I don't get any bridesmaids or a bridal shower...” His hand rubbed my back.  “Those things aren't important, you know that. The only ones that need to be there are you and me. You've been a bit, spoiled princess.” Maybe he's right... Giving in with another sigh, I rested my head on his shoulder.  “It's just not what I've been picturing is all.” With his fingers running through my hair, he rested his head on mine. “I know.”  Rain began to pour relentlessly outside. Thumping on the roof and smacking into the windows. We drove along the coast, headed for the cruise ship docks downtown.  The sight of people passing by, huddled against the wind made me feel all the more cozy in the car. ”You think they'll ever forgive us?” I asked quietly.  My question only met with silence. “Liam?” Glancing up, he was staring out the window. Lost in his own thoughts. Rolling my eyes, I fiddled with my ring. and mumbled. “I hope they do...”  “They do what?” He asked, finally back in the present.  “You think they'll ever forgive us?” I repeated.  Without so much as a thought, he shook his head.  “No. Are you crazy? No. After today I don't really think there's going to be a happy family dinner anytime soon...if ever” He laughed. “Kinda like Romeo and Juliet.” I mumbled, wrapping, and unwrapping my hair around a finger. He laughed. ”Guess we are, aren't we?”  Unbuckling my seatbelt, I turned. Laying flat over his lap, closing my eyes.  “Two households, both alike in dignity. In fair Verona where we lay our scene.  From- Ow!” Liam flicked my forehead.  “Good thing we don't have to kill ourselves huh?” “No, apparently we just book nautical themed cruises without asking and elope... Without asking.” I huffed.  Liam grabbed me, as the car came to a sudden halt. Nearly throwing me to the floor. Clicking his tongue. “This is why we wear seatbelts, princesses. Just what would I do if anything happened to you huh?” He smiled. “We've arrived, sir.” Came a husky voice from beyond the divider. “Thanks.” Liam called. Helping me from the car. Stepping out into the rain he fuddled with an umbrella while I gazed up at the ship. “It's beautiful.” At last, he got it open, holding it above us both.  “Isn't it? It's the most high-end Halloween masquerade cruise available. We’re going to have a blast. Much more than anyone else aboard, I'm sure.” Placing a kiss on my forehead he grabbed the bags from the trunk.  The entire boat was glowing like a beacon against the rain. A dazzling rainbow of lights lit up the night. The thumping of music barely drowned out by the rain.  Halloween wasn't exactly the theme I pictured for my wedding but if nothing else it might be fun. Hearing him struggle behind me, I offered to help him with the bags.  The second their wheels touched the ground, the car drove off.  As if in a hurry, splashing me in rainwater. His tires screeched as he turned a corner.  “Ok, bye then. Nice with you.” I grumbled, wiping myself off.  Liam's hands joined me in wiping my now wet pants.  “Sorry about that sweetheart. I have no idea what's with him today.” It's not like things could derail much more anyway, may as well go with it. “Forget it, let's just check-in.”  At the entrance stood a tall thin man, dressed in a shiny suit of black and orange.  His hair slicked back. The corners of his mouth were decorated with fake stitches, looking like his mouth was cut into a smile and sewn back up.  “Welcome to the “Oceans Prophecy” Halloween Masquerade cruise. Boarding passes?”  His face just beaming with that well-rehearsed pride and enthusiasm. A real ‘employee of the month’ kind of guy.  After rifling in his pockets a moment, Liam handed the man our tickets.  Upon seeing his name, he began to lose his composure.  “Oh my, Liam Vonrough! What an honor it is to have you aboard sir.”  Glancing at my ticket, he straightened his tie nervously.  “And Julie Millbank. Wow. Very pleased to meet you both. This is, ok. S-so you are uh...” His hands began to shake, now too nervous to even look us in the eye.  His trembling hands dropped the tickets, Liam only scoffed in annoyance. This kind of attention is very normal for us both. At the mention of our names, other passengers around us began to murmur and whisper. Some are already mentioning this morning.  Wanting to help the poor guy I bent down for the tickets.“Here, I got it” Offering a friendly smile as I handed him the tickets. Glancing quickly at his name tag.  “It's very nice to meet you too, James.”  At the sound of his name, his eyes met mine, we both stood. “How do you know my name?” Motioning to his name tag, I had to swallow a giggle as his face constantly flushed.  But soon others gathered behind us in a line and James finally snapped back, taking a shallow breath.  “Y-your both are in our finest suite.”  “And the room is as I requested?” Liam asked coldly, taking my hand possessively.  “Yes sir, everything is as you asked and if you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask myself or any of the other staff. Enjoy your stay aboard “Oceans Prophecy”.   I looked up at Liam with disgust. I've seen him be a little rude to workers before, most of the time it was warranted to some point but there was just no reason to be cold to that boy.   Feeling bad, I smiled again “Thank you.” Walking with him as Liam led me away.  Awkwardly he called out. “N-no thank you.” The entrance opened to a giant glittering ballroom, decorated with orange and black leaves, silver skulls, golden pumpkins, and elegant black branches covered in cotton cobwebs. All around the ship, the staff were in costume. Dressed as various monsters and witches. Making me realize, “Oh hey, we didn't bring any costumes”  “Oh, I wouldn't be so sure.”  Arriving at our room, Liam opened the door. Revealing our expansive suite.  Stepping right into the living room, there was a gorgeous electric fireplace, roaring in front of the comfiest looking white couch I've ever seen. “Very nice.” I hummed, pleased. “And check this out.” Liam rushed over to the bedroom, disappearing behind the corner. Following closely behind my eyes wandered around the room, my heart skipped at the bed. Overflowing with red silk blankets and rose petals. Champagne in a bucket of ice waited on a table nearby. A huge window on the left opened to a balcony, overlooking the ocean, still raining miserably.  “Arnt they awesome?” I turned to see Liam holding up two costumes.  For me was a floor-length white mermaid gown. Looking at how I always pictured it, sparkly and form-fitting with an elegant neckline. But my breath hitched when my eyes spotted color. The bottom of the skirt is decorated with fake blood. The sight made me sick. Random splatter and red bloody handprints littered the skirt and train, the fabric torn in random places adding to the effect. In his other hand, he held another outfit of the very same idea. A groom's tux ripped in random sections. Splattered blood along its edges. Unsure what to say I could only stare, hoping this was a joke. “You don't like them?”  “No no, it's just... Well, I thought at least we were going to have costumes separate from our actual wedding attire.” Dejected at this, his arms began to lower. For a moment I felt bad.  “It's not that they're not great, just for my wedding dress I imagined less….blood?” I knew a Halloween wedding wasn't a good idea. “Jules, common they're awesome. And look, the ceremony is tomorrow night.  The captain is going to marry us dressed as a vampire. It's going to be a big thing.  You're gonna love it. Trust me.” “I did trust you. And now there's blood on my dress. I didn't think you considered my wedding dress as a costume.” Turning on my heel, I left. “Now hey wait, where are you going? What did I do?” With a huff, I slammed the door. Needing time to let off some steam. “What is this day?!” Tears stung the back of my eyes as I wandered down the hall aimlessly.  Damn it, I'm not going to cry. My arm wiped at them angrily.  Slowly more and more people filled the ship as everyone boarded.  Returning to the ballroom I soon found myself at the bar.  Finding a seat, I slumped over the counter.  Feeling the weight of my decisions for the first time. Normally, sitting like this would result in the lecture of a lifetime from my father about ‘upholding the family's reputation’ but he can go to hell for all I care. Behind the counter, the bartender was dressed in all black.  His face painted to look like a skull. After finishing up with a customer he wandered over my way, pouring yet another drink. “Hey there. Trip can't be that bad already. Haven't even left the dock yet.” He joked.  With a groan, I sat up. Head resting in my hand.  If I'm going to feel this lousy anyway I may as well be drunk. “It's nothing, just... give me one of your strongest.”  Finishing up his current order, he slid it down the bar. The glass stopped precisely in its owner's hand. “You sure you can handle it?” he asked, turning around.  When I answered with a cold glare he raised his hands in defense.  “I’m just checking. But don't you go sayin I didn't warn you or nuthin.”  With my order being made, I dropped my head with a thud. Just wanting to die.  Was only yesterday that we got engaged, everything was so perfect.  How in the span of twenty-four hours has my life taken such a turn. My family hates me, hates the man I'm with and now even he's turning out to be more of a loose cannon than I thought.  “Y'know, not that it's any of my business, but if you want to talk about it I'd be willing to listen.” Pulling myself up, I rested my head on crossed arms.  “That's a little cliche don't you think?” Preparing the glass, he scoffed.  “Not any more than someone wandering over to a bar, having embarrassed themselves. Now looking for advice, pretending they don't want it. Or am I wrong, Mrs. Millbank?”  With that, I sat up straight, ice clinking as he poured it. “Wha-” As he began to pour the vodka, he motioned his head to the TV behind him.  Playing softly in the background. The news was on, and so was footage from this morning. My hair and face looked as horrible as I thought after all that damn running. It changed to me cowering behind Liam, stopped by the police. “Oh god. I wanna die.” Next, he poured a thick red liquid into the glass. Followed by black.  “Well, this’ll get you a little closer, believe me.” Moments later, he slid the glass over.  “I'm such an idiot.” I groaned, taking a deep gulp. Immediately choking, I covered my mouth, struggling to keep it down. “Nice” he chuckled.  “Oh shut up” I coughed, wiping my mouth. “I don't drink very much.”  Still laughing, he poured me a glass of cold water. “So why are you drinking?”  “Guess I just want to forget this is all happening. I have no idea what I'm doing.”  To his surprise, I took another sip of that vile concoction. Collecting empty glasses from the counter, he placed them in the sink. “Well, you're getting married tomorrow. That's big.” Now it was my turn to scoff.  “Yeah, it's big alright.” Raising a brow he looked confused. “Do you not like him?” “I freaking love him, he's everything I've ever wanted but...Well just look around.” Turning on the stool, I motioned to the room. Covered in its pumpkins and spiderwebs, people dressed as goblins and witches wandering around.  “This isn't exactly every girl's dream wedding.” Looking around, he only shrugged.  “I dunno, I think it's pretty cool.” Boys...  “Who asked you.” I sneered.  With a frustrated sigh, I downed the rest of the drink. He looked about to say something but stopped. Continuing to dry the washed glasses. Shaking my head in disgust at the taste I slammed the cup down. Following immediately with the water.
