The Pack

    Heavy breathing in the cold frosty air "...gotta keep running before they find me..." the crunch of the rotting sticks and twigs in the soft snow stung ever so slightly on my bare feet. Growling in the distance seemingly getting closer " I don't have my wolf yet to help with running away so I'm purely depending on my human ability here." The wind starts stinging my face with snowflakes sticking to my eyebrows " I swear it feels like I have boogersicles at this point." My lungs feel heavily constricted while trying to catch a breath. *Crack* "Ahh!" *Bonk* "Over here the scent is over here by the tree ." All I remember seeing before I succumbed to the darkness clouding around me is feeling safe and secure and the deepest blue eyes scanning me and looking at my injuries.                                                          * 10 hours later *          " Hey I believe she is waking up." I hear voices but I can't identify who they are and they don't sound familiar. " Good do you think she would remember anything like where she came from? Or how she came across our territory?" The voice sounded of concern and worry and that was reassuring they at least they won't kill me after I heal completely. " Alan, I can't answer that until we get more scans and tests done but it'll have to be when she wakes up." That voice must be the doctors voice so articulate yet caring to a degree... fighting with my eyelids to wake up and see what is going is unreal. " Alicia don't open your eyes yet there's something that we must discuss first.." Whose voice is that, that wasn't anyone I heard but sounds assertive and powerful. In the distance I see the brightest yellow eyes staring back at me and the fur as dark as midnight with a tinge of blue that literally has glitters inside the fur, itself. "Who are you?" I asked in awe " My name is Akasha I'm your hybrid wolf you have matured early to hear me so when you wake up a week from this moment we will shift, but before this can take place Alicia you are royalty of the highest court don't panic if you get treated differently, although, you may not remember everything after you hit your head pretty hard on the tree escaping from the rogues that kidnapped remember this phrase and your memories will be flooding back with a vengance "Omnia, quae olim erant iterum erit" however this phrase can only be said by your mate and I will tell them the words to tell you when the time comes until then just remember you take anyones attitude as what they are inside. " Just like that she disappears but now I don't feel so alone in this. Well time to figure out how to wake up forcing my eyelids movement, nervous, but I opened my eyes and saw a blinding light that stung for a minute " Get the doctor and the Alpha quickly she's awake now." The person nodded and left at a quick pace as I laid there nervous, scared, worried, and anxious I remembered what my wolf Akasha said during our conversation. Not even five minutes as I'm sipping my water the doctor walks in " Hello, I am Dr. Judy Kellermen and I'm your doctor tonight and I'm going to do a neuro examination for motor skills and functions. " I nodded my head and proceeded to do the tests with the doctor and she noticed for someone who was only thirteen my reflexes are insanely well great to say the least.          Afterward, The Alpha walked in and I can feel his authority but not to the fullest extent of a normal wolf but it was made clear that I was different. " I see you are finally awake and aware. Do you remember anything before the hit on head?" I felt a strong pain in my head trying to remember and Akasha reappeared reminding me that I can't fully remember besides being chased by rogues. " I'm sorry but I don't much besides being chased by rogues from my home. " " Ah, sorry where are my manners my name is Alpha Alan Arling, and you must've been talking with your wolf right.. quite early for someone your age isn't it?" I swallowed deeply nervous only because I am scared that he may have figured out my royalty. Breathing heavily, and still slightly panicky " You know I know about the royal mark on your ribcage problem is, I don't think I can reach your pack considering if you were chased by rogues all the way out this way towards our pack. Are you sure you don't remember anything at the moment?" I considered his question and I remembered the conversation between me and Akasha my wolf "Actually I remembered that Akasha my wolf said I am maturing rather quickly and that I'll shift a week from today." Alpha Alan looked shocked and concerned I mean I expected the look because I'm thirteen no one shifts that early even those of royal blood. "Unless they're high ranking royals like princesses or even future Kings and Queens mature quickly and they shift early." Umm.. ok awkward is this going to be a normal occurrence... "yes" Okay I guess my wolf is randomy going to give me small bits of information. "Alphha Alan I believe my wolf gave me important piece of information high ranking royals like Kings or Queens or even Princesses specifically can mature early enough to shift at the age of thirteen." Alpha Alan had a considering look on his face before he spoke "Okay that was vital we will welcome you into the pack and you will be a pack member until you are found or until you decide when you feel it is safe to look fir your home. Understood." I nodded and bowed out of respect so that way he knew I wasn't completely arrogant.            After the conversation with Alpha Alan had passed he was contacting some pack members that haven't been able to have any children of their own. One couple walked in looked to also be of high ranking maybe his Beta or Delta, little did I know I was correct it was his Beta John Johnson and his mate Alice had been trying for years and they saw me and Alpha Alan explained the special situation I was in and his Beta's mate walked towards me "My name is Alice and I will be your adoptive mom and we were explained the entire situation even considering the mark on your ribcage. Just know that you won't be treated any differently from any other pup in the pack okay. You will take your place as our daughter. Would you like that ?" "Yes I would love that." I replied Adamantly replied Akasha was calm and reassuringly agreed. After a few minutes passed Doctor Judy walks in and looks around "Hello, Beta John, Alice. Now, Alicia according to you, your wolf told you you are able to shift early correct?" I nodded as a reply " Okay, so your test results showed that you are going through the change now which means about 4 to 5 days you would shift into your wolf. I would like to observe you before and after as we approach the time frame of your first shift. Just to make sure that you develop any damage to muscle tissues or even rupture your organs. Considering, this shift is happening at such a young age.. Alpha do you think it's possible to hold a small ceremony for the acceptance just you, Luna, Beta, and Alice? Cause of her young age shifting I don't want her to accidentally cause trauma or accidents due to nature of the process." Alpha Alan considered what the Doctor said into account. " Dr. Judy your really worried about her losing control. I believe with how much maturity she has proven so far might be underestimating her abilities don't you think? Just alittle. " " Alpha I'm just considering the safety of others not just her control. " "Fine but you take that up with the Luna as well. " "Oh I will, and also Alicia you are free to go now if you encounter any issues with you're resting at home, please let me know as soon as possible." Taking in everything Beta John replied for me "She will Dr. Judy, we will make sure of it. Okay. "
