Ren's POV - I thought her condition was getting stable and stable but she suddenly started seizing. Her body was getting cold and blue. Her face was pale and her lips were chapped. She was laying on the stretcher lifeless. And being a doctor I could not help her, this fact was hard to accept. Her blood pressure was constantly dropping. Her pulse was almost to nothing. I can see what is about to happen but I also know that I can't let that happen. I have to save her. She deserves to live like anyone else. Someone once told me that sometimes being able to save someone is the best gift anyone can ever have. I know I can save her. That was my gift. But I don't know if saving her is the right thing to do. Sometimes changing the natural order of things can be disastrous not just for them but for many too. And I'm still not sure whether my powers are actually helpful. I just wish she can survive this without my powers. The hospital is still five minutes far. She had water-filled in her lungs making it hard for her to breathe, it will damage her brain. It will be a miracle if she actually survives this, the chances are less than a percent. I just hope for a miracle. She started seizing again. Somewhere I know that was it, the end. She won't survive now. And just what I was scared of happened. Her heart stopped. She is flat-lined. I don't know what I should do anymore. I don't want to just let her go this way. Maybe she deserves to live a new life. I just went with the feeling in my gut. I pulled my pendant out from my shirts through the collar and removed it by unhooking it and put it on the empty seat beside me. And I just kissed her. Her lips were cold, lifeless. As if I was missing a wall, cold and stiff. Soon as I kissed her. I can feel something, something is changing. Her life became warm. Her skin was changing its pale appearance. But soon she started having weird boils on her body all over. It looked like her skin was changing. It started shrinking. How is that possible? This shouldn't happen. This never happened previously. It won't harm her more, would it? I shouldn't have done that. It was like she was changing. She didn't look the way she looked before. I was so stunned by what's happening, that I didn't realize that she is moving. "Ahhhhhh," a groan came from her mouth. Making me look at her. She opened her eyes. She looked tired, she barely had enough strength to open her eyes. She looked at me and again closed her eyes. The girl laying in front of me now is no longer the same, she is so much different now. She won't even recognize herself. * * * * *
