Ren, They chatted about their family while I was gorging on the rest of the food on my plate. I don’t know how many calories I ate just now but it must be more than what I should consume as dinner and that too so much sugar. I can feel the sugar rush. I don’t remember when I last have so much sugar in my system. Okay, I will avoid anything sweet for the next whole week. I don’t want my hard-earned abs to join each other and made a bread loaf. No more cheat day… “Okay guys I'll be back in five you can go upstairs and wait if you want.” “shall we go up?” I asked. “we should, I want some peace.” Walking up two cases of stairs and here we are on his door step. I've been here before many times. And its always good to be in his space. He calls it a room but it is not, I must say. It is much roomier than my apartment. He has two spacious bedrooms, a big living room, a cold storage room and a big big kitchen, almost similar to the one downstairs. But the highlight of this place is the roof top. And no, it is not just a normal roof top. It is my favorite spot to hangout with him in this building. “when did you came back?” I asked. And I could see it on her face that he wasn’t expecting this question. “last week” she answered. “I was back in the US about three months ago but I went to live with my sister for the time being.” “have you been here before?” “no, I couldn’t but I promised Josh that I will and see I am here.” “Then you must’ve not seen the roof top.” “umm… of course not.” “we should go there then.” I offered. “okay… let’s go.” To go there we climbed a spiral metal staircase. And the place, it was as clean and kept as ever. He has a kitchen garden in almost half of the space. He grows many herbs here. It smells heavenly here. The rest half of the space has a beautiful wooden couch. Yes, you heard it right wooden couch. Everything here is wood. The flooring, the furniture, even the sculptures on the walls are that too. I feel calm here. The more vibrant and exciting the interior downstairs are, its much homey here. “are there herbs?” Catherine said. “yeah, he grows it on his own.” “hey, wow there is cherry tomatoes too.” she plucked one from the plant and put it in her mouth. Just as I saw her biting it, her eyes and knows scrunched. “it’s sour. I've done this before.” I confessed “vou vouvave fold me.” (you should’ve told me.) “it’s fun to see you doing that.” I replied and giggled. *
