Catherine, I caressed my cheeks; they must be Ren by now. Josh laughed; Ren laughed. Seeing them I broke out laughing as well. “How did you guys meet?” we both sat on the chairs. “it was some party for my father’s hospital. But we talked at the hospital later.” I answered. “yeah, it was like a year ago. Haven’t since then actually.” Ren said still laughing hard almost choking on his desert. He has a sweet tooth I can see. He eats like a child. He is too plain and cute to be a doctor. He seems to be a nice person too. He is warm and even though we haven’t talked much I feel that warmth he carries with him. He makes me feel comfortable. I wish we could meet quite often from now. “Didn’t you guys date or something?? You would make such a cute couple.” “you wish… haven’t you heard doctors can't date ‘non-doctors' you know.” I said air quoting. “they are too busy for that.” “that’s not true, is it Ren?” Josh asked his face at him. “it’s hard cause you to know you won’t see each other often, but it’s not entirely rare. Few doctors at the hospital are dating or married to people from other professions.” “then you guys can date…” he teased. I just laughed at his comment and since Ren didn’t seem to be much bothered by his comment, I didn’t say anything else. “Cat remember when I told you about a friend of mine who looked after me when I was at the hospital a few months back?” “yeah, your carpel tunnel syndrome. Is it good now?” “it's great thanks to this doctor here.” “really!! You told me some other name. You said his name was Willy.” I questioned. He started laughing aloud looking at Ren. Ren was too looking at him wide-eyed. Almost like he is angry. Well tried, he still looked cute. “yes, Willy. He is Willy Wonka.” “What??” I chuckled. “isn’t he cute and innocent like Willy Wonka?” He said. And weirdly enough he does make sense. “he looks like white chocolate too.” We giggle, me and Josh. Ren was silent. “I don’t look like a chocolate.” He said. “you do… you do…” we laughed again. Ren “then you guys can date…” Josh said almost making me choke. He is too straightforward. I was keeping or at least trying to keep a straight face and I highly doubt that it worked. Usually, I'm good at not showing my thought but this time I'm not really sure. Thank god the topic ended there. “yes, Willy. He is Willy Wonka.” ‘Willy Wonka, no… it’s more embarrassing to be called that in front of a girl especially.’ ‘No please don’t go there…. Please… please…’ I was praying in my head just please make him stop. I was giving him a stare pleading with him to just stop but it was all in vain. “What??” she chuckled and asked. “isn’t he cute and innocent like Willy Wonka? He looks like white chocolate too.” I felt like banging my head on the table. “I don’t look like a chocolate,” I said aloud. “you do… you do…” they both laughed nodding their heads. “you called me bad nut the first time we met in the hospital.” “being called a squirrel would have been better,” I commented.
