“Actually…” she said while thinking about something. “uh forget it. It was nothing.” She ended.

“shrimp pasta. The chef here is my friend, he cooks it the best.”

“hmmm… what is this situation? Do you guys know each other?” I didn’t realize when Josh came out of the kitchen until I heard his voice as he spoke standing almost at the table.
“oh! hey Josh!!!” I stood up to hug him. “you smell like pepper and smoke…. You should have taken a bath before hugging me. I don’t wanna smell like a sauce.” I spoke pulling him away before I catch his foody fragrance.
“does it mean I'm spicy and smooth…” he said hugging me tighter?
“hahahahaha, exactly the opposite…” I burst out laughing. My eyes teared up.
“you didn’t say you were coming. You went to a party, right?” Josh asked pulling away from the hug as I was controlling my hysterical laughter.
“Yeah, actually I wasn’t planning on coming but I didn’t really like the food there. It was too bland and I wanted to make you cook for me. So, I figured what’s better than your restaurant to fill up my stomach.” I tapped his shoulder with mine.
“well, I'm almost done we can have food in my apartment upstairs, Ren will join us too. you both seem to know each other. So, I won’t feel like mixing chocolate and pepper.”
“You think I am a chocolate?” I spoke.
“you think I will think that. You are pepper of course.” He pulled my cheeks.
