"Hello, Mr. And Mrs. Reeves. Ms. Yamazaki called and told us that you are going to visit Ren. We are glad that you are here. It's good to have someone from Japan. Ren seems to like you a lot. Come in." I said greeting Mr. And Mrs. Reeves. Ms. Yamazaki called two days back to inform us about their arrival. They are very close to the kids of the orphanage.

"We are glad that we can make it on his birthday." Mrs. Reeves replied.

"Come I'll take you to Ren's room. Actually, Today we are having a party for Ren's birthday. We are hoping for you to come. Ren will be happy." I said to them.

"We would love to Mrs. Salvatore. But we have a flight back to Japan this evening. We have a meeting tomorrow in Japan. We will surely visit him again when we are in the States." Mr. Reeves said.

"Whatever you like. Come I'll take you." I said them leading the way to Ren's room. When I lead them to Ren's room, he was sleeping. Mr. And Mrs. Said they won't disturb him in his sleep. They bought a gift for Ren.

"Here, this is a gift for ren.he was wearing it when we found him outside the orphanage. Ms. Yamazaki kept it with him since it was too tight around his neck. She forgot to give it to you. We made a new chain for him jaded with this stone. You should keep this close to him. It has the power to keep him safe and bring good luck. It is Japanese culture.

Fifteen years later

"Happy birthday Ren." The whole family wished Ren his sixteenth birthday.

"Thank you, mom, dad, and Eli. How are you guys up so late? You all went to bed at 11. I thought you were asleep." Ren said surprised. His parents are very particular about everything. They go to sleep at eleven, every single day even on weekends.

"We have to be the first to wish you. It's your sixteenth birthday after all. And We have a gift for you. Come." John uttered excitedly.

"Dad, You seem more excited about the gift them I should be," Ren said to his father.

"Stop being suspicious and follow me." The rest three of them followed John to their garage.

"Catch it son", he threw keys to Ren's direction. "This is your birthday gift from all of us."

"Wow, really dad? Thank you so much. I always wanted this model. I'll take care of it. Thanks again." Ren thanked his parents who gifted him his first car. It was Toyota, metallic silver and the model he wanted the most.

"Take care of yourself while driving as well," Mary said.

"I promise, thanks, everyone."

His birthday started with a big surprise for him but ended with a shock.

"Mr. And Mrs. Reeves, thank you so much for your gift and your visit. It was nice having you here." John said to them.

"Mr. Salvatore we wanted to tell you something about the necklace that we gave to Ren. Actually we know who Ren's real parents are. They are kept anonymous but that green emerald stone jaded in that necklace is his legacy. His mother's last wish was to keep that necklace attached to Ren, always. We hope you can do that for her." Mr. Reeves said.

"Yes of course if that is his parents' last wish," Mary said.

"We should now go. We have to catch a flight back. Take care."
