The Night Ends

This is moonstone. I am sure now that I am watching is up close. I can see the irregular edges in it. It has been broken up this is not the whole. I should take a snap of it, maybe Megha can help me. she knows more about the Indian Scripture than me.
I took out my phone and take a picture of it before I put it on the table.
But now to think of it, how is it actually possible for Ren to have it. Not that I think low of him or anything, but something like this still exists is more like a shock. And especially not in a museum, that’s rare.
‘where are these boys? Why are not they coming still?’ I said and looked around getting bored when I suddenly heard footsteps approaching.
‘someone is coming.’
I sat properly before the person arrived. My back straight and hand brushed me hair.
Ren came and he looked in a hurry. He was taking fast steps. I heard a groan with another voice along with it, like a thud.
Poor plants. I know he bumped into one.
I shook my head in pity.
I couldn’t even look at him until he sat down beside. He wore back his necklace and took long deep breaths. He definitely ran a marathon. And only then I could take a good look at his face wo!!! He looked like he had run a marathon. I asked him if he was fine, which he didn’t looked like at all but he dodged all my worried questions. He couldn’t see my in the eyes, he looked uncomfortable. Seeing him being uneasy with my questions I didn’t asked any further.
After he left, I rested my back on the sofa and unhooked my heels. Uhh!!! They were killing me. I felt like all my blood refused to pump back from my legs to my body, they felt heavy. This is harder than I thought when I saw others wearing heals. I can't imagine my sister performing concerts, singing and dancing wearing them. I got tired just sitting like this for long wearing them.
‘I'm good in sneakers and flats. I think heals are not my thing after all.’
“where is Ren?” Josh asked suddenly appearing in front of me from thin air.
“oh!! He left. He had something urgent, he said.” I spoke.
“really!! He didn’t tell me. he didn’t even meet me before leaving. He never does that.”
“I think he wasn’t feeling well, he looked like he had a fever or something.”
“was it serious? He lives alone and he doesn’t take care of himself much. I hope he is well.”
“you should call him and check on him then. But I don’t think it was very serious.”
“you are right… wait here I'll bring my phone”
“I'll come with you. I should leave now too.”
“you are going too!!uh I'll be bored.”
“then go and sleep, it’s pretty late already.”
“fine… fine, I call Ren after seeing you off.”
“wait!! What happened to this plant?” he pointed out looking at the broken Bonsai pot.
“I think Ren bumped into it.”
“he is so clumsy sometimes. He didn’t get hurt did he.”
“I don’t know!! I couldn’t ask.”
“by the way, I don’t see any dead plant here. Were you joking about it?” he asked.
“what no, see it’s there.” looking at my watch I pointed at the corner; where I saw the two plants earlier. Their leaves were dried and branches looked slouching and dark too.
“where?” he asked again.
Is he having night blindness?
“there dude!!” I pointed again.
“the plants are green as much as I can see.” He said making me look at it too.
“what?” I said. And he was right there were none like that.
I looked around. At every one of them. But there were no dead plant there.
“were you joking with me?” I said.
“no!! I actually saw there.” I persisted.
“I think you showed get your eyes checked soon.”
‘did I see wrong?’
“ha ha ha, whatever! I'm leaving now.” I said and walked down the stairs.
