PIECE OF MY HEART It was a summer day. The sun was bright and the air was hot. The atmosphere was colorful. Everything around was flourishing. Trees are bearing beautiful and colorful fruits. Flowers are blooming. Birds are chirping. The air is filled with the aroma of summer. But a happy and colorful day does not bring happiness to everyone's lives. Some are suffering. Some are I'll. Some injured. Someone is sad. Somewhere someone is holding on to their hopes. And someone is heartbroken. Millions of people have millions of stories. But they all are looking forward and moving forward to where their life will take them. Somewhere in Japan "Ren Mumma papa loves you, you'll remember it right?" A sad mother said to her newborn baby boy holding him in her arms with her husband hugging her from behind. She was heartbroken. The kid was unaware of his mother's tears and was smiling brightly. His smile connects his lips to his ears. He had a weird shine in his eyes whenever he smiles. His eyes had a shine of fire. It was so alluring That leaving him in an orphanage, abandoning him was heart-wrenching. But they were helpless. If they knew that bringing a new life in this world and keeping them safe would be impossible they wouldn't have made them came to this world. But they still persisted with holding on to even the slightest hope, slightest possibility. Yet it was impossible. They loved their child but they did not have any choice but to abandon him in a foreign land. They have no choice, it was necessary in order to protect them. In order to give them hope of a life free from dangers. A life free from always looking over your shoulder. A life worth living. They left him abandoned in front of Hiroyasau orphanage in a small basket. The basket had a tag with Ren written on it, which was swinging with warm air flowing in that hot summer day. He was covered with a blue-colored blanket keeping the sun away from his porcelain skin. He was sleeping peacefully unaware of his fate. His parents abandoned him there and left the country resenting their fate and heartbroken. "Kids we have a new member in our home. Meet Ren." The janitor said to the children in the foster home making them excited to see the new member who had joined them in their fate. In that orphanage, there were some children who were abandoned by their parents because they have some physical disabilities. Some were abandoned because they were unwanted. Some were there because they have lost their parents and have no one else who can provide them. But Ren was the only one their who was left there so that he can live a life where he is safe. A Life of his choice, his decisions. Everyone in the orphanage loved Ren. He was the youngest member of the family. He was treated like a delicate flower. Everyone adored him. Whenever he smiled it looked like there is a bonfire in his eyes. It was bright and warm. But it was also extraordinary like never seen before. "Kids be ready there are some people coming to spend some time with you all. They might also want to take some of you home and make you a part of their families. So hurry up from the bed and get ready." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - New York "Hello 911 my wife is pregnant and she fell from the stairs. Please come fast." "Sir please don't panic, tell your address." "101 west 23rd Street" he disconnected the call saying his address and ran to his wife who was lying unconscious on the floor. "Mary Mary please open your eyes. Mary, open your eyes. Don't leave me. Everything will be fine. You'll be fine." He said shaking his wife. He was panicked and scared. In the ER of the hospital, "Sir please stay behind, we are checking your wife." The ER doctor said and left John behind suspense and misery. "Sir your wife had a miscarriage. We have to perform an urgent D&C on her or else her life will be in danger." The doctor told him about their baby, which was shocking enough but listening about his wife, it broke him. He had no choice rather to except that the child they were waiting for Day and night to come is no longer alive.
