"Dear don't cry, I know it's hard but we have to do it. To keep you all safe, to keep us safe. You know humans will hate us if they know the truth." The man replied. "How can we abandon our people when we know they are in danger? We have to inform them at least." The woman said. "Fine dear we will do that. But for now, let's pack our things. I will look for a place to hide." The man replied and went out of the house. "Mother, what is happening? Why is father so sad? And why were you crying?" The little girl asked the woman concerned. "It's nothing, my daughter. There is something bad gonna happen soon. Don't be scared, your father and I will protect you. We just have to go to another house. And don't tell This to anyone. This is our secret." The woman said to the kid. "Okay mother, then I'll pack my clothes." The little girl said and ran away. They wrote a letter and gave it to a soldier to pass it on to the king before running away from the town. Attack! A man riding on an elephant shouted and an army ran in the direction of the town. They shot arrows on the people of the town. They fell lifelessly on the ground. The men in the army shot burning arrows on the house. All the houses were burned to the ashes. "Take the king with us." The man riding the elephant again ordered. They took the king with them and locked him in a dark prison room. The kind keeps shouting some name. He was cursing them. "Kill those bastards. They betrayed us. They destroyed our town. They should die." People of the village shouted. The people a man, a woman, and a girl were brought and roped to a pole. They were soaked in kerosine. Angry people started a fire and burned them alive. Their screams and shrieks were resonating the whole town. But no one cares about their pleads. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Suddenly I opened my eyes, I was soaked in sweat. "What was that dream?" I thought. I picked up my phone from the table. It was eleven a.m. I quickly got up from my bed. I had two missed calls from my sister. She must've called me to remind me of the promise. I quickly took a shower, brushed my teeth, and got ready to go to meet my family.
