Ezekiel. He is director’s son. Whenever in this hospital there has been any table death due to the doctor’s mistake, he had always been the one to fire them. This time it’s his own son. I want to see what will he do in this situation. Will he be just and bound by the rules or will make an exception for Owen. The first report was done. Putting the documents aside I glanced at the next page. ‘Gabriel logan’ Those words stroked against my eyes. Why is this file here? Owen was the attending physician. He should be the one making it. Maybe by mistake, someone had put it here. ‘it’s okay, I'll give it to him to deal with.’ Suddenly something else caught my eye. My name Ezekiel Robbins was in that document as the attending physician. Cause of death, ‘heart failure due to over doze of Anesthetic drugs.’ ‘Why the hell my name is here?’ it baffled me. ‘why?’ ‘just why?’ ‘is he doing this to cover up what Owen did?’ ‘who can do this other than…….’ - - - - - - - I was angry and out of control. He smirked at my desperation. ‘I knew it. I knew it was all intentional. How can I forget that people like him, only runs after money and power? Justice? Injustice? Truth? Lies? Nothing matters. Nothing!! His smirked widened. Folding his hands against his chest he rested his back on the chair. “you were the one who operated on that patient. Everyone will say it. You killed him. Everyone will agree.” He uttered. * “what the hell is wrong with you?” I exclaimed in anger. “you’re trying to put the blame on me? do you think I won’t do anything against you? Who do you think you are huh!!” “it’s not a big deal, anyways. You were his mentor and you didn’t teach him well. That’s all.” He casually spoke sitting on his comfortable chair. “not a big deal??? Huh, is this so trivial for you? Are you even a human anymore?” I said in a loud pitch. I slammed all my anger on his desk with my fist spilling out the water the tumbler was filled with on that table. I was shaking with pure rage. I could have done anything out of it at that time. “trivial?? Very!! You are a famous doctor, nothing will damage your reputation easily and as for this matter, I can promise to settle it for you. I release an official statement of your innocence as long as you sign those papers...” “papers? What papers?” I asked. He threw a folder on his desk from the drawer sliding to the other edge, at me. I picked it up vulnerable and started rolling my eyes through the printed pages. Every letter, every word, every sentence, were doing nothing good but just adding up to the anger that I had kept pressed in my heart all the rage started spilling out like that glass of water. I slammed it back on the desk. The anger this time took the best of me. the folder slid and fall on the floor after hitting his face giving him a b****y scratch in his cheekbones. I couldn’t care less about it though. I am done with him anyway. This has gone too far now. This time I won’t submit. We wiped the cheeks with his fingers and spoke, “don’t you know, I am the director of this hospital. How dare you behave like this to me?” he slammed his palms on his mahogany desk standing up. His chair threw back to the cabinet behind. “to me you are still the nerdy loser from school who couldn’t even stood for himself against the injustice and bullying that he faced every day of his life and scared to talk about his feelings.” I spoke. “scared to accept his true self and use cunning methods to make others pity you.” I ridiculed. “how dare you?” he screamed. His hair ruffled, I can see that my words burned his selfish and arrogant walls that he had built around himself all these years. He is no longer the person I was friends with, the one I once even loved. I knew it long ago how he has changed. But he would go to such extents to prove me right, I had no idea.
