Ch 19 Quinn

She just stood staring at her hands. She has fairy magic. She heard Sutton shouting and Jack calling out to her.

"Quinn, I'm going to take Sawyer to the hospital his arm is broke." Jack said.

"Dad, I'm sorry, i got distracted. I never let his climb that high without me. " Sutton said.

Jack didn't answer her back. Sutton looked more than upset with her dad's silence. Sutton, it's okay. Your dad is just worried about Sawyer. This Tucker boy came running forward.

"Sutton, we need to talk." He said is quiet, angry.

Quinned stepped in front of Sutton. Leave now, Tucker. This is not the time.

"What's it got to do with you," Tucker said.

Tucker grabbed a hold of Sutton. Quinn moved her away. Tucker actually went to push her away from Sutton. Until her 3 brothers stepped in front.

"Who the hell do you think you are. Stepping up to Luna Quinn like that." Kruz said.

Tucker eyes went wide. He stepped back. Levi pulled her behind himself, and Kit did the same with Sutton. Tucker, you need to go home now, and she will be informing the alpha Jack of this.

Tucker walked away. She took Sutton hand. Come on, let's go see how your brother is. How's the hand. Sutton looked at her own hand.

"Hurts. I dont have my wolf yet. "

We walked into the hospital. She saw a nurse. Excuse me, could she get some ice for Sutton hand please.

"Of course, Luna," Nurse said.

Sutton huffed. "Pack members already calling you luna," Sutton stated.

It just a respect thing. Sutton, dont read too much into it. Your father or herself haven't announced to ask anyone to call her that. Sutton nodded. Jack appeared. Jack, how is he?

"Sawyer elbow is broken. It could have been a lot worse. Thank you, Quinn. He's currently having a cast put on. He's enjoying all the attention. " Jack said.

Can we see him.

"Yes, when he's finished." Jack said.

"Dad, I'm sorry. This is my fault. " Sutton declared.

"Partly it was. He will be fine. What happened with Tucker?" Jack asked.

"He was trying to plead with me to forgive him. He thinks we are going to be mates on the full moon. I told him I wasn't interested. If we are mated, we can discuss it if it actually happens, but for now, i dont want to see or speak with him again. " Sutton said.

Why did you punch him?

"He told him that I was only cutting him off so I could go sleep with all the unmated Alphas at council training. It isn't true, so I punched him in anger. " Sutton explained.

"Okay, well, he deserves it, but infuture your brother is your first priority, Sutton." Jack the alpha spoke.

"Yes, alpha," Sutton responded.

Jack kissed Sutton forehead. He turned to her.

"So fairy magic," Jack said.

Yes, by the look of it. We'll talk about it later. It's not the time. Sawyer came out. A full cast on his arm.

"Look, Quinny. I have a cast."

Yes, she can see that. How are you feeling?

"Tired the doctor gave me painkillers. "

Well, let's get you home and into bed. Jack agreed. Her family was in the waiting room. We will pick this up later. We need to settle in Sawyer. Her family nodded.

Jack picked up Sawyer, and we headed for the pack house. We got him changed and into bed. She was just sitting at the table thinking. Jack came and sat with her.

"Are you alright?" he asked

She actually doesn't know it's a lot of information all at once. How do you feel?

"Fine, I'm just glad you got an answer, and you do have fairy magic and a wolf. Not that it mattered to me, but for you, after all these years not knowing, " Jack said.

All she could do was nod. Sutton walked in.

"Can I talk to you both?" she asked.

Of course, Sutton, what's wrong?. Quinn pulled out a chair for her. She sat.

"I'm sorry about Sawyer and hitting Tucker. "

Why? he deserved it. Sutton smiled. We both looked at Jack.

"As your Alpha, i don't condone it. We are meant to show a good example, but as your dad. I'm glad you hit that little s**t. " Jack said.

We all laughed. "How's Sawyer?"

"He's fine resting," Jack answered.

"I'm sorry, Quinn. I interrupted your family time. "

We are all family Sutton new and old you interrupted nothing. Sutton smiled.

"How long is your family staying?" Sutton asked.

Erm, she doesn't know, probably not long the kids have school. Saying that school is coming to an end soon.

"There are 3 weeks left for Sapphira and Sawyer. I've finished. It's my birthday next week. I thought they might want to stay. " Sutton said.

Thats very sweet of you Sutton she will bring it up with them. Even if they go home. She's sure they can return for the party. Sutton nodded. Sutton stopped and turned towards her. Something else, Sutton?

"Is your brother Kit single?"

Quinn smiled. As far as she is aware, yes. Unmated. Sutton quickly left. We were still sitting at the table. Jack raised an eyebrow at her. What we are Hiltons. We are attractive to most alphas. Quinn laughed. Jack shaked his head.

"How do you feel? " He asked

"You can do that here in privacy. Do you think they will stay?"

She doesn't know. Her parents could she supposed. Kruz can be left in charge. He's more than capable. Kruz and Levi have children in school. So mostly likely they will leave tomorrow.The twins and kit might stay. If they have time off work.

"Do they have a day job?"

Yes, even tho Kruz will take over. Father has us all train to war generals if that day comes. We all train every day. Kruz is an accountant. Levi is a swim teacher. She has a small clothing company. The twins model for her. Both have a tech degree. They sorted all her website and social media. Kit is training to be a teacher. He already knows 3 languages, including Fairy, and is currently learning wolfen.

Yep, her parents wanted us all to have something to fall back on in case we didn't want to be war generals or had mates in different packs or realms, including Kruz.

"Very smart, way to think about it. I will be training Sapphira and Sawyer to be an alpha and run a pack with also a backup career."

Jack leaned in and kissed her. He pulled back to see Sawyer. What's wrong?

"Can I watch TV in my room?" He asked.

"Yes, you can." Jack answered

"Can I have snacks in my room?" Sawyer asked.

"Yes, you are unwell." Jack answered

"Can I have pizza in my room?" Sawyer asked.

"Now you're pushing it. Maybe later. " Jack said.

Quinn laughed. She took him back to his room. She put his tv on. She climbed onto his bed with him put on a kids' movie on. Jack walked back in with treats and drinks.

"Can I join?" He asked.

Sawyer nodded. We were 10 minutes into the movie when Sapphira appeared at the door.

"Can I join?" she asked.

Of course, come on. Sapphira climbed up and sat on her dad. It was nice. Sutton popped her head in and smiled. She must have mindlinked her dad, his eyes glazed over. Then he frowned. Sutton waved him off. She saw Sutton leave. Jack's spoke quietly.

"It Sutton meeting with the admissions at alpha training. They are mandatory classes, but they are allowed to pick one extra class if they choose to. It's a video call meeting. It's in 10 minutes. "

Go now, we will be fine.

"She said she wants to do it alone,"

She says that, but deep down, she'll want her dad. Just quietly leave now. Let her do the meeting, but she'll feel happy you are they just dont interfere. He nodded and slowly slipped out.Her mother linked her shortly after.

"How is Sawyer?"

He's okay. We are just watching a movie.

"Would you mind me joining you. I would like to get to know Jack's children. "

Her mother appeared no longer than 1 minute. She was clearly waiting outside. She shaked her head at her mother. Mother placed two boxes in front of them.

It has magazines, popcorn, sweets, and chocolate. Stickers, soft toy. Both their eyes lit up at the treat boxes. She spoke to them. Her mother did this for her when she was ill. All her favourite thing in a box to cheer her up.

"Hello, I'm Bree. Quinn mother. I spoke to your grandmother. She told me all your favourite treats. I hope that's okay?" Mother said.

Both nodded. Kids couldn't speak had their mouths full. Her mother smiled. We just sat for hours watching movies eating treats. She knew her mother was going to treat Jack's children as if they were her own grandchildren, and deep down, Quinn was happy about it.
