Ch 18 Quinn

Quinn, Jack, and his unit were all waiting on the top steps for her parents to arrive. She didn't know why but she felt nervous for some reason.

"It will be okay, Quinn. We will help you get to the bottom of this because I would actually like my mark to stay on your neck, " he said, laughing.

Oh, is she ruining your reputation. "Maybe," he smirked.

She wacked him. It's not funny. Jack wrapped an arm around her. The cars pulled up. Cars, meaning more than one. 3 were actually here. First car. Kruz and Petra got out with her 3 nieces. Then, the second car is Levi, his heavily pregnant mate Lola, with their son. The third car was Kit, Saffron, Brianna, and her parents.All stepped forward. Alpha Jack. You've met her parents before. Quentin and Bree.

"I have. It's nice to see you again. " Jack said. Her father shaked his hand.

This is Kruz, her eldest brother. His mate Petra and her beautiful nieces. Rose, who is 10, Satin is 8 , and Pearl is 5. She hugged all 3 of them.

"It's nice to meet you properly, Alpha Jack," Kruz said.

"Yes, you too, Kruz. We didn't get much time last full moon. " Jack said.

This is Levi and his mate Lola. Who looks ready to pop. "I am," Lola laughed. Her cute nephew, Lenny, who is 2 years old.

"I've heard a lot about you. It's nice to finally meet, " Jack said.

"Yes, I hope you're treating my sister, right? " Levi stated. Shaking Jack's hand.

Levi, really? "No Quinn its alright. He's your brother he has a right to ask. Yes, I believe i am,"

He is Levi. She exhaled. This is Brianna and Saffron, the twins, and finally, Kit, the youngest.

"It's great to meet you all. You've had a long drive, why dont we show you to your rooms, you can have some time to yourselves then meet for lunch in the private dining room.

"Okay, yes, that would be good. Just us please Jack. I need to talk to my children in private. " Bree asked.

"Yes, Bree, of course. Myself and my unit will give you time." Jack said

"No, you included Jack. You should hear it too," Bree said.

She watched them all walk away. She could feel her mother nervousness. This didn't feel like it was going to be a good conversation.

Two hours later, we were all sitting in the dining room. Jack had a buffet style food laid out and drinks. All the kids were with a nanny. Which surprised her. Kruz had said to her.

"Mum told him and Levi to leave the children out that they were too young to understand," Kruz said.

That more than shocked her. She accepted it. We were just about to eat when Sutton walked in.

"My apologies, Quinn. Sorry to interrupt. Sapphira and Sawyer would like to play with your nieces. Would that be okay. I will watch over them." Sutton asked.

She doesn't see why not. She turned to Kruz, and Petra both nodded. Everyone, this is Sutton. Jack's eldest daughter and heir to the pack. Her family smiled and said hello.

"It's nice to meet you all. " Sutton said.

She bowed her head and left. "Oh, she's beautiful, Jack," Bree stated.

"Thank you. " Jack responded.

"Yes, very fit," Kit said.

Jack raised an eyebrow at Kit. Quinn laughed. We all ate. Then she turned to her mother. Mom, you can't keep putting it off. What is it you need to say. You've dragged everyone here. What's so bad. Her mother exhaled, and dad grabbed her hand.

"Well, I guess i better start at the beginning. You all know that she was born of a fairy bloodline.When I was 20 years old, a witch came into my village in the enchanted realm and killed everyone in my village to get to me. The elders managed to bring enough magic together to hide me from the world. "

"As I moved around the realm, the magic started to fade, and i couldn't hide anymore. The Witch Tamara found me. I managed to escape to a council estate. They had heard about my village and didn't think they were any survivors.They put me in the care of Raymon Hilton. "

Mother smiled and looked at her father. Dad kissed her cheek.

"He took care of me and took me to his home pack. I was initiated into the pack. The council thought that would also hide me. The pack was lovely welcomed me with open arms. I met a 14 years old boy called Quentin. The son of Raymon. He was smitten with me. He never left me alone." Mom said.

Mother giggled. "Well, father said I was man of the house, and while he was away, I was in charge, and you needed our protection," Dad said.

"Yeah, I'm sure that's what it was," Kruz said, laughing.

"Then 4 years later on the full moon. I scented out my goddess gifted mate. I was like you, Quinn. 30 years old and wasn't sure what to do about it. I accepted him, and it was the best decision I ever made. "

"I was always scared Tamara would find me. Especially after I had Kruz and Levi. The power i have it normally passed down from female to female. My grandma had who raised me had the ability,"

Your parents?

"My parents died trying to protect me. When I was 5 years old. When I got pregnant with you and Pixie told me it was a girl. I knew Tamara would come for me to get to you."

What power are you talking about?.

"Like all witches, warlocks, even wolves, they are different types and have different abilities. I'm a necro fairy. I have the ability to control life and death. Tamara wanted me to resurrect her family. For me to do that would see me die,"

Quinn stood up and just hugged her mother, as did all her siblings. Why didn't you ever tell us.

"For your own safety. You see. Tamara is my great aunt. Her mate and children were killed, and it turned her heart cold. A fairy is good and true, but if her heart is broken, it turns them dark. I severed my kin bond with her and our home after she killed everyone,"

She didn't receive the gift?

"No, only the eldest daughter receives it. So if you have a daughter, she will receive it. "

How? she doesn't even have it.

"Oh, you do, Quinn. I can feel it, and you have a wolf, too. I feel her. " Mom said.

Quinn eyes went wide. When?

"The day we were in Alpha Lutton office. I felt her she's very interested in Jack. The fairy within is protecting you both"

Why?

"The arrow she shot me with was meant to full knock me out, and Tamara obviously wanted to take me. She would have been able to release me for the toxin, but she didn't get a chance. Her helper failed."

"So Tamara wasn't the one i killed." Dad said.

"No, her niece Vea. She'd be training her but not enough to fight against a bloodlust wolf. " Mom said.

So why can't her wolf come forward or use fairy magic?

"The magical toxin was in my blood stream too long, and I bedded it to you. That's her only thought. I did think once Jack marked you that your wolf would appear,"

Okay, she kind of sat and said nothing.

"Are you alright?" Mom asked.

Yes, Mom. She is just taking it all in.

"There is another way, but it's a bit drastic." she offered.

"I remember a story my great grandmother told about a family member who couldn't get her fairy magic to work. She accidentally hurt herself and was about to die. Her fairy magic came forward and saved her," Mom explained.

"Mum, you want her to try and hurt herself," Kruz said.

"No, of course not. I just thought somehow shocking your fairy magic out and possibly bringing your wolf forward," Mom said.

She will think about it and discuss it with Jack in private later. She needs time to think. How about we take a walk around the pack and see what the kids are doing.All agreed, and we headed outside. She turned to Jack, and he smiled.

"They are down in the playground. Sutton is with them. " He said.

We all headed down the playground all the kids were playing, jumping and climbing over everything. It was nice to see. At least the kids were getting along.

He could see Sutton in the distant arguing with a boy. Clearly, the one she'd been dating and that had slept with someone else. Jack was about to go. She held him back. Let Sutton sort it herself. Tucker needs to learn to respect her. She saw Sawyer climb higher.

"Sawyer, please be careful." Jack said.

"Quinn, look at me. I'm so high, " Sawyer yelled,

Then we all heard yelling, and Sutton punched that boy in the face. We turned back to a scream. Sawyer was falling, and he hit his arm on the way down. She reached out for him to find him floating a foot from the ground. Goddess, did she just do that? MOM

"Sweetheart, you did it," mom said, running toward her.

She wasn't trying to use it. She just reached out for Sawyer. What does she do now.

"Concentrate and slowly lower him down to the ground," Mom said.
