Ch 7 Jack

He was up early. He sat out on the balcony having a coffee. He saw her Quinn running through the pack.

"What do you think?" Terry asked.

About what? "Quinn." He doesn't know her. "Do you want to try?" He doesn't know. We'll see how this mating alliance goes. He doesn't know what Quinn wants or himself if he's honest.

"Maybe you'll both get some clarity in this meeting," Val said.

Maybe his pack alliance isn't looking good with the fight last night.

"I don't think so. Alpha Lutton wasn't happy about his son and the fact that she's your mate that speaks volumes." Terry said.

They had breakfast and saw Alpha Lutton and Quinn parents waiting for her to come back in. She did finally run back into the foyer, and she looked tired.

"Come Alpha Jack, let's wait for her to return," Alpha Lutton said.

Alpha Lutton. He should have said it last night his apologies for fighting with your son. He understands if you were to cut our pack and business alliance once he leaves. He would understand.

"No need for that. My son caused this, and he is on house arrest until this is all decided. I'm delaying his takeover," Alpha Lutton.

Don't do that because of him.

"It's not he's 35 years old, and he should be able to handle this without causing a fight and attacking the one he's meant to love," he said.

His eyes whipped to the door. Quinn is here he can smell her. She's gathering himself.

"You can smell her. " Quinns mother asked.

He realised he'd not been introduced. He stood up and walked over. Sorry for my very bad manners. His mother will have his neck. He hasn't introduced himself. Hello, I'm Alpha Jack. This is Terry, his beta. Valentina his gamma and Hawkin his delta. She shaked his hand.

"Hello, I'm Bree. It's nice to meet you all. A female gamma. That's a first for me," she said.

Yes, Valentina is one of a kind. Her family is mostly women. All the previous Alpha's in his pack had female gammas.

"That's wonderful. " Bree said

When Val is not able to work. Her brother covers her role they are no different.

"Charming, I thought I was better," She said, laughing. Jack smiled.

You are, but you both use the gift the same. "That we do."

Quinn finally came in after a fill 5 mins staring at the door. Thank you for coming. She sat down with her parents.

"So my first question as your Alpha will be for Quinn. Do you accept Alpha Jack is your goddess gifted mate.?" Lutton asked

"I didn't at first, but after his reaction to Julian, i thinks so. I think i will accept him. " she said.

"Right, let's get to this alliance. What you both want. Who's first?" Lutton said.

Ladies first. "You're the Alpha. You should state what you want first, " Quinn said.

Well, technically, you're his mate, so now his equal.

"Okay, you might not like what I say?" she said.

Well, let him be the judge of that. She was staring at him.

"Okay, I don't want to mark or mate until I've gotten to know you?" she said.

Okay, he's fine with that.

"I will also stay in the luna suite if you have one? "

He's does. He will call and have it cleaned for you.

"Already sorted boss," Terry said.

Quinn raised an eyebrow at Terry. "Please don't take that as we are rushing you to decide. " Terry said.

What else?

"Do you want more children?" She asked.

He doesn't mind either way. You?

"Well, they are a chance their might be wolfless if your genes do follow through," she said.

"Quinn, is that a worry for you?" Bree said, surprised.

"It's a concern that a mate should know." Quinn stated.

He understands your concern. It's not something he's concerned about. The goddess will decide if we will, and the children get will leave it to her. No, it won't bother him if they are wolfless. If you dont want any, that's fine too.

"Thank you. I do just not yet, what do you want? " she said.

The usual. Be faithful, be honest, and he will do the same. He has 3 children. Are you willing to be a step parent. Make an effort to get to know them. Be a luna to his pack, listen to them, be they for them if they need advice, or just an ear or shoulder to cry on.His mother is still in the pack she will help you with whatever you need.

"I think i can do that. How old are your children?" she asked.

Do you think? he needs to know you can not, you think. Quinn said nothing. He continued. Sutton is 17. She will be 18 in a few months. Sapphire is 10 years old, but going on 50, he laughed. Sawyer, he is 7 and a handful but a sweet boy.

"I'm sorry." For what.

"Your mate, their mother," Thank you. He'd rather not talk about that. Let's get back to the alliance. What else do you want?

"I want you to go home as scheduled, and I will set off in my car after I've packed and spent time with my friends."

We can wait for you.

"No, I would like to travel by myself. I don't want to feel rushed. I'm uprooting my life for yours." she said.

His jaw ticked, and he wasn't happy.

"You don't trust me?" she said.

He doesn't know you to trust you. He exhaled. If you agree to all our terms and sign it, then he'll agree to your request he grated out. Terry, here will meet you at the Wolfen portal for safety only.

"I can accept that. My father has a tracker on my car for safety. " Quinn said.

Why a tracker? What is he missing?

"Nothing for you to worry about. Well, let's get this signed. " she did.

He did the same. Now what?

"Now you go home. I'm going to go pack. Spend time with my friends. Dinner with my family. Mom, can you organise that. I will have a last training session with dad in the morning, then set off. " she said.

Quinn just nodded and walked away.

"I will come see you off." she said.

Okay. Why is she being so accepting and not kicking off.

"Accepting her fate," Quentin said.

He just stared at the man. You make it sound like he's going to torture her, and she's moving to hell.

"That's probably how she feels. Quinns own decision has been taken away from her, " he said

So he take it, Bree? Isn't your goddess gifted, mate? Quentin jaw ticked.

"She is,"

So how would you feel Bree's father spoke to you how you've just spoken to him. Would you have welcomed it? it is not very supportive. It isn't his choice either, but he's keeping an open mind.

"I've never met her parents, but no, I wouldn't have liked it," he said.

If this isn't for Quinn and she hand on heart really doesn't want to try, that's fine. He won't force her. Terry, can you get all warriors and new mates ready to leave. We leave in 1 hour.

Hawkin, can you go make sure the coaches are ready to leave. Val, could you go pack our bags. He's going to call home and check on the pack. Let them know we will be home sooner. Terry, can you let's the warriors know new mates that their families can visit anytime to just let their Alpha Lutton know, and he will happily accommodate.

"What about lun.... Quinn said, " Terry asked.

What about her? if she comes, she comes. He'll give her a week to turn up. She doesn't he will take that as she's not interested and he will return. We can issue a rejection and move on. She'll be able to mate to Juilan.

'Why do you say that?" Bree said.

She loves him she didn't even fight him off. Their both will relinquish their mate back to the goddess, and she will be free, and so will he. Excuse him, Alpha Lutton. He has calls to make. He walked out of the office.
