Ch 12 Quinn

She was getting ready for the day. She was so stupid, why did she sleep with him. She decided to put her gym wear on. It was all black with silver lines. She put her trainers on and hoodies and headed off downstairs.She knocked on his office door. He was sat at his desk. Are you ready to show her round?

"You're dressed for training?"

It's how she dresses most days. She trains most days, and it's comfortable.

"Okay, where would you like to start?" he asked.

Wherever you think is best.

"Okay, follow me. This is the foyer, as you already know. The building is kind of in an L shape. The front, as you said, looks like the human president house. It's 4 floors. Alpha and his unit are only the top floor. 3rd floor. Houses all the heads of each department in the pack. 2nd floor all the visiting family members. 1st floor. All visiting pack.We have a mini hotel in the town centre for visit pack members."

"The ground floor holds a few meeting rooms. His office, the luna office. The dining hall, the ballroom, the entertainment centre, and the creche. "

It's all looks great. "We can go walk the town. " he said.

We headed outside.

"How are you feeling?" he asked. Dont.

"Dont what?" looking confused. You know what. He stopped walking. "I dont."

"Yes, I can. No one is more shocked than me about last night. I don't regret it, Quinn, but yes, we both have complicated past and need to take it slow," he said.

So what's next on the tour?

"The training grounds."

Grounds? mean more than one.

"Yes, we have 3 and two gyms." Okay, sounds fun.

"It's is. The left gym has all the toys you'd like, treadmill, weights, climbing walls, etc. The second has a swimming pool and a boxing ring. " He said.

Nice, she needs to have a play in that. Jack smiled.

"The 3 training fields. 1 is a standard training field. The second obstacle course is on two levels, and 3rd the black hole. Where you and your wolf have to use all your senses to stay unattacked,"

Interesting. She saw a few training sessions. She watched on. One warrior approached. She was delta blooded.

"Quinn, this Leighton. One of Hawkins sisters. " Jack said.

Quinn put her hand out, and she huffed.

"A weak wolfless Luna great," she said.

"Leighton, you watch your mouth. Quinn is your future luna. You give her respect now, " he said.

"Why, she hasn't earned it from me?" Leighton said.

Jack growled. Quinn put a hand on him. It's fine Jack she's right. Leighton, is it. Well, how about she earns it. Let's fight, and she'll even make it easier for you. You and your friends here. 5 on 1.

"Quinn?" Jack said.

It's okay. Let's play. His own unit turned up.

"What's going on?" Terry asked.

"Leighton being Leighton," Jack said.

"Leighton, I warned you," Hawkin said.

It's okay, Hawkin. After this, no one will say a word about her being weak. She walked over to Jack and reached up to take his tie. He always dressed smartly. He nodded. She took his tie.

She stood in the middle of the training field. She tied Jack tie over her forehead, then pulled it down over her eyes. She put her arms behind her back. Well come on, come at her.

She closed her eyes, and her dad trained her well. She could feel them walking around. A different smell to each of them. The first one came at her. She threw him over her back.

The second she kicked fully in the chest and heard her fall to the ground. The 3rd is a full punch to the face and a knee to the stomach. The 4th was a swipe of the leg and fell backwards. This went on for 5 minutes until Leighton shouted.

"Enough my turn, you're all useless, you can't even beat a weak wolfless girl,"

She's had enough of this she's far from weak. She felt the hit in the back. Quinn swug out with her fist and made contact with her chest, then again at her stomach, then her Jaw. She grabbed Leighton, arm and twisted it round, and felt it crack. She kicked her fully in the chest, and she fell back on the ground.

Quinn put a foot to Leighton neck and pulled the tie off her head. Are we done? Leighton struggled to nod. She released her foot. Don't ever call her a weakless luna again.

Her father is a 4th generation war general. Her great grandfather, you might have heard of him Raymon Hilton war general to the wolfen council. Leighton eyes went wide. Leighton stood up. Hawkin approached her.

"Luna, I'm sorry, my sister is an immature, childish small-minded i***t. Alpha, is it alright if I discipline my sister? " He said

Jack nodded. "Discipline after her attack on me. She's meant to be our luna to be not very luna like," Leighton said.

Quinn just burst out laughing.

"Can you hear yourself? You're an idiot." Hawkin stated.

Leighton folded her arms. "I dont have to listen to you," she said.

"Okay, well, it's either me or Val. Which do you prefer?" Hawkin asked his sister.

Leighton looked at Val and turned to her brother. "You," she said. Val laughed.

"Oh, don't worry, Leighton, me, and you will have our talk. Dont worry about that," Val said.

Leighton eyes went wide, and Hawkin dragged her away.

"Quinn, I'm sorry about my sister inlaw she's never learnt the art of shutting her mouth," Val said.

It's okay she's used to it. People don't understand her. She turned to the pack members around. She spoke loudly.

" I don't want to fight you or hurt you, but I won't be insulted or made to feel worthless. Yes, I am wolfless, but that's a very small part of who I am and what I'm capable of," she said

She turned to Jack, and she placed his tie back around his neck. Thank you. What else is there to show her. Jack showed her the forest. Then, around the town all the shops ect and lastly lockdown tunnel. The lockdown code and their procedures. We finally ended up in the Alpha office. He handed her 3 books.

"This one is our pack law and protocols. The second is all allied packs and our alliance details. The non allied and why. The 3rd is a luna book. All the tasks Mother will want to teach you. I thought you might want a heads up. Mother will leave you alone until we mark," he said.

Okay, thank you. These will be helpful. She exhaled.

"Hay, no rush. I just thought the books might have answers to questions you might have. " He said.

"What's wrong?" He asked. She exhaled.

She's sorry if her fighting with Leighton and Warriors causes trouble for you or Hawkin. It's not the greatest first impression of her to your Alpha unit.

"You have nothing to apologise for Quinn. You defended yourself, and Leighton has always been hard work. The warriors will respect you more for what you did. Trust me, Hawkin knows how his sister is. They won't think anything bad of you, but I realised you haven't a had proper introduction to them all. Let's do that tonight? a meal?," he asked.

That's sounds good. Nothing over the top, tho casual.

"Okay, we have a restaurant in town. It serves a bit of everything. I'll book a table at 7 pm?" he suggested.

Okay, that sounds good.

"I know we said no s*x but would a small kiss be allowed. " he asked.
