Sold For Eternity

I remember my old life. I remember it like it was yesterday. I will not say that I miss it. Missing it would hurt too much, and I have dealt with enough pain already. I have learned to live with that. I want you to know my story. I need you to know my story. I do not want to disappear forever, and none know the truth about what happened to me. I can handle a lot, but I cannot handle that. I will start at the beginning. I will spare no details. I will not paint him as a monster. I can’t, not now anyway. Please don’t judge me before you know my story. I love him. I tried not to. I held out for a long time. I even hated him and wished him death for years, or at least I think it was years. Not now. Now is different. Just know I never pictured my life this way. I never even imagined this was a possibility. I know now that it is. I know now that I stepped no jumped headfirst. I was young and naïve. He was not. Not naïve that is. Someday someone will find this, and they will know that I lived. They will know that I fought. They will know that I loved. They will know me.
