Kate succeeded in avoiding Emilia all night. She didn’t want the repeat of the previous conversation. Brandon was by her side all night introducing her to business partners or relatives. Most of the men liked her but some of the women didn’t and she couldn’t figure out why, they were giving her threatening glances all night and towards the end of the event she was already so tired she could pass out.
