Sydney Jenkins? Sydney Jenkins back in Georgia? How could that possibly be ? , I thought she left for good. I thought she left so I have peace. With her around, Liam is going to resent me twice as much.
"Good day Liam.... any reason why you didn't sleep home last night?" I sent Liam a text just to see if he was okay.
I had called and called but all efforts to reach him was in vain. At some point I just knew Liam had blocked my number.
"The number you're trying to reach is unavailable please a voice mail" I heard that same message all night.
Since the night of the Gala event , Liam had grown more distant not even from me I mean he was never not distant to me but distant from home. He stayed out and came home the next morning.When I asked its either the usual "it's really none of your business" or " you know we don't know each other right".
"You don't understand the concept of a phone call " Liam said as he walked into the house.
"Where have you....."
"It's really none of your business.... the concept of a phone call is to talk to an individual.... once the call isn't answered the first few times you should know such individual doesn't want to speak to you" he interrupted
"But I am your wif...
"Woman, the next time you call yourself that you'd hate me" he said .
"Get dressed by 7 today, we have a family function. Wear a free dress to hide your weight" he said as he walked out again.
Liam didn't even want to know what I made for breakfast. It's always in the pattern; I'd make breakfast, I'd ask if he'd like some , most time no but at least sometimes he would. But now he didn't even want to know what I made anymore.
A family event?.. what could be the problem? We only have family events when there's a problem especially with Liam's younger sister and her husband.

It was 8 p.m that same day. I had gotten dressed since 7 and was waiting for Liam to come home so we'd go together.
I waited and waited and waited but I didn't see Liam.
Liam didn't love me , he said it often and showed it even more time than he said it but he'd always try his best to be better when we're at family events so what was this now?
" David.... David" I called out the name of the driver
" Yes ma'am , are you ready to leave" he asked
"Ready to leave?.... what of Liam ? We should wait for him.
"Oh he didn't tell you?" David asked confused .
"Tell me ? Tell me what? " I asked David.
"He's already at the venue... you're supposed to go on and meet him and the family there" David said.
It has become this bad Liam?.. You doesn't even want to be seen with me in public? I said to myself.
"Ma'm are you okay " David asked.
"Oh yes I am .... shall we?" I responded as I entered the car.
"You can't even keep to time now?" Liam asked as I finally got to the venue for the family event.
"I would have been here early enough, if you told me you'd be coming here alone " I responded .
"Why would you think we'd come here togeth.....".
"Are you guys going to keep arguing there or come in before the food gets cold" Liam's mum called out.
Okay... something was definitely wrong. Liam's mum would always come greet me with a warm hug. The love I didn't get from Liam I got it from his family before now at least.
I entered and we all sat down to eat........ Liam was sitting opposite me and was talking to his brother in law.
"So Sydney yh..... how did you feel when you saw her?" he asked
"I felt revived man..... I loved it more when she kissed me" Liam whispered back but loudly enough so I could hear.
Liam kissed Sydney..... Sydney coming back here was a bad idea......
"Ann.....when do you and your husband plan to give us an heir?... i'm not growing any younger" Liam's mum questioned as she looked at me.
"We're working on it ma" I replied...
I lied... I wish I could say Liam hasn't touched me since we got married... how am I supposed to manufacture an heir if Liam doesn't even want to see me?....
"Excuse me" Liam said leaving the dinner table.
"I'm done eating too" Liam's sister said as she followed.
They obviously were heading to the same place.... was it something about her husband?or something about me? Or something about Sydney.... I needed to know
"So what's up with you and Sydney?" Liam's sister asked....
"We're good......very good actually "
"Have you been seeing her?
"I have and we've been having the best time. We're dating now actually....."
My chest tightened, my fist clutched, Sydney was with Liam.
"Touched her yet?" She continued.
"Ofcourse I have "he responded laughing like his life depended on it.
I couldn't bear it anymore.
"So Sydney Jenkins right?" I asked interrupting their conversation.
"There's something called privacy.. you know that right?" He responded
"You're cheating with Sydney .. Liam why are you doing this?....how are you so inconsiderate?.... how do you think I feel?..... don't you care about how I feel not even the tiniest bit of care Liam...all this because I love you Liam..." I continued as tears flowed down my cheeks
"The barren witch has arrived ouuuuu" Liam's sister replied.
"I'm barren becaue your brother hasn't touched me since we got marr....
"How could he touch you.... don't you look at yourself I mean you are sexually unattractive " she added .
Seemed like the word sexually unattractive was a go to word for Liam and his sister......
" Liam answer me.... are you having an affair with Sydney?.. I asked again like their conversation didn't hint that already.
"What do you think...."he said as he walked out....
"Liam come back here and answer the question " I called out as I followed him....
"Liam what is all the noise about again...." Liam's mum asked as he made his way into the living room .
"Mum, dad , uncle and every one else .... I can't continue doing this.... you want an heir ? Yes I'd give you an heir... but not with this witch....
" Have them" he said facing me as he brought out a brown envelope .
"We're getting a divorce, I've signed, sign too that's if you want to ..... either ways you're given an ultimatum of 1 week to leave my house " Liam said
