Ivan knew this would be his chance. They were talking about the Guild Establishment Token before and Ivan knew that they wouldn’t get it if they took down a Silver boss. In Rivalry, players could only get the Guild Establishment Token from Golden boss or higher level. Guild Establishment Token meant a huge amount of money, which was exactly what Ivan needed.
Skullshatterer’s breakthrough dramatically enhanced its ATK and the Golden boss was stronger and smarter than the Silver one.
Skullshatterer slashed hit huge sickle at the edge of the pit and using it as leverage he climbed out of the pit, flying high in the air and then landing with a crash.
"Ah, he escaped!" Claire exclaimed.
"No worries! Now that he is out, we can work together and finish him off as fast as possible.” Ivan looked at the remaining team members.
From a few feet away, Skullshatterer looked around and saw Claire, the one caused the most harm. He rushed toward her without hesitation.

Two major injuries floated over Claire's head, taking away two-thirds of her blood. Thankfully, Ivan had been prepared since he saw the Silver boss turn Golden. He cast his skill to heal Claire before the sickle even touched her as a preventative measure.
Watching her HP up and down, Claire felt as if she was on a roller coaster.
“Stabbing!”
“Assassination!”
FallenAngel also jumped in and tried to stop Skullshatterer with her skills.

Iron Man roared and waved his iron stick to hit Skullshatterer. Of course, he was fighting not for the Guild Establishment Token but for his master, Ivan. Even though Iron Man was just a D-level guard, Ivan was touched to know at least his guard would always have his back.
Skullshatterer approached Claire fiercely, while Claire had to step back to escape the attack. She didn’t know how many times she might be able to avoid his attack before she would be sent back to the bind.
Thanks to the Guru's Heart, Ivan could keep using Mass Heal without worrying about the healing value, “I am glad he wasn’t a Golden mob from the beginning. Otherwise, I guess failure would be the option, no matter how many times were tried. Cheer up! We are close!”
"No way! How could I lose to you evil human beings?"
As Ivan had predicted, about five minutes later Skullshatterer fell to the ground dead. In the last few moments of his life, Skullshatterer mumbled, “How could I have lost to you, tiny humans? And, why didn’t any of my soldiers come to help?
System: Congratulations! Your team killed boss Skullshatterer! XP+9000! Loda Reputation+300!
"YES!" Everyone cheered, none of them able to believe that they just killed a Golden boss.
XP+9000? Ivan thought if he remembered correctly, he only gained 8000 points for killing Mirage; Skullshatter was only Level 22 but Mirage was at Level 100. Ivan’s theory was that the smaller gaps between players and NPCs, the more XP players could gain.
Thanks to the Golden boss, Ivan reached Level 16 and was almost to Level 17. He opened the stats for the others on his team; Claire, Leo, and FallenAngel were all Level 15 and Left-handed love was nearly at Level 17.
The level system was based on class in Rivalry, players in different classes needed a different amount of points to reach the next level. Comparing the two made sense, a super class would need more points to get to a higher level. The set-up made Rivalry different from traditional games. It was not only attractive to players who were fond of challenges but also welcomed by the company itself. The more attractive the game was, the more players would participate.
The only thing left after killing the boss was to pick up the rewards. Since Leo and Left-handed love hadn’t returned yet, Ivan knew he had to quickly gather items or the system would take them back. By Skullshatterer’s body, Ivan found a huge Golden box.
Ivan had done some research in the knowledge center. He learned that instead of having everything fall to the ground, the system kept the rewards in a box for Silver bosses and higher. According to the boss level, the color and the context of the treasure chest would be different. The treasure chest would automatically disappear once the player took all the items, which confused Ivan. He hadn’t seen any chest when he killed Mirage. He assumed that since Mirage killed himself at the end of the mission, the chest disappeared in the fire.
Taking the two Epic equipment Ivan owned into consideration; Ivan, Claire, and FallenAngel all agreed that he would be the best person to open the treasure chest. They were expecting the chest to have another Epic equipment inside.
Rubbing his hands together, Ivan walked over to the chest. As he got close, the system asked him if he wanted to open the chest.
Ivan selected “Open”.
The first thing showed to Ivan was a box full of gold coins.
Score! Ivan quickly picked them up.
System: Congratulations! You have gained 300 gold coins!
"Claire! FallenAngel! Have you received it? 300 gold coins! We definitely found the right boss!" Ivan seemed very excited.
After collecting gold coins, Ivan found several pieces of equipment below, of course, on a smaller scale. Ivan took them out one by one.

Besides two Rare equipment, Ivan found another two Special equipment.
The best thing about the Rare equipment was not the increase to the basic stats but three addition Stats, like Con.
Even though Rare-level equipment was attractive to most players, Ivan clearly was not one of them. As a Priest, wearing a heavy armor would certainly slow down his cast speed. Considering that, Ivan knew it was not the best equipment for him even though the armor could help him a lot on his DEF and HP.
Ivan put the equipment into his bag and planned to give them to Leo and Left-handed love when they came back.
"What is this?" He questioned. After picking up all equipment, they noticed something at the bottom of the chest, glowing purple.
"Is this Guild Establishment Token?"
