Chapter 10Ashleigh made a face as she surveyed the motel’s breakfast options. Warmed over sausage, burned bacon, and a vat of scrambled eggs that seemed more orange than edible. Though the bread area was fully stocked and halfway decent, thereby making peanut butter toast a wonderful option, especially to her rumbling stomach, she lost her appetite almost the moment she noticed that other people had cross-contaminated the butter with the peanut butter.
