Jason’s POV
Peeling off the gloves from my hands, I turned to Dr. Campbell with a sigh. “That was awesome, Abel.” I said with a small smile, one that I was sure didn’t reach my face.
It couldn’t, actually, because I hadn’t had a reason to smile for a couple of days now. After Cara had told me our kiss was a mistake, I had felt bad for some reason. Maybe it was because of my ego, or maybe it was because I was hurt, either way, I had not been smiling.
Thankfully, I hadn’t seen Daisy since, because I had been working late.
