We could have taken back my car to the hospital, but I couldn’t until the cops had worked on it and cleared it. For now, it was material evidence.
The bastard that did this had brought her here in it, and I wonder why not in his black sedan. That would have made a lot of sense if he had brought her here in his own car. Plus what criminal was that foolish? Maybe he wasn’t a professional.
I wasn’t sure, but either way, I was certainly going to look into this. I would inform Hunter as well, but only when I was sure of what was going on.
For now, I just needed to get Cara to the hospital and see how she was doing.
