Ava couldn't help but shake her head and sigh. Alex seems to be suffering from great ...Sickness.
I don't think Alex is sick, though. Maybe, it is a malfunction, right? Ah! Who am I asking? Its only me now! Wah! Alex! Come back to me! Ava dramatically laugh after. I am going crazy.
As the sun fades at the darkness of the night and moon and stars completely shining above, the Walker family had another family dinner which only comes once in a blue moon. The clangs of plates and forks from before they first dine together are now harmonized with some words of stories and curiosity. Though you still cannot believe that they all do well together, all of them try to give a facade that they truly is a family. The twins are glaring with each other while the couple Walker are in their usual awkward feelings betwewn them.
"Ahem. I know that you and your sister are aware of the Hudson family, right? Ava, you are friends with Jake, their only child. Why not introduce him to Eve? It would be good if Eve could also be on the same circle of friends of yours." Bill continues.
Since they started eating, all Bill talked about is how they made some stable ties with the Williams and the Hudson. He is talking about the businesses that was made possible with these three families working together. They were even featured in a newspaper because everyone was shock by the sudden cooperation of these three families together.
"I think Jake and Crawd already knew about Eve, though, Dad." She said before looking at Eve who is glaring at her.
"Oh?! That's great! Eve, you better should be friendly with Jake, you know." Bill exclaimed which made Heaven and Ava raised some eyebrow on him.
"Why is that, Bill? You seemed to be pushing our daughter to this boy, Jake." Heaven asked him.
Bill stared at Heaven with surprised face. He then change to curiosity.
"You didn't know? I thought you knew. We engage Eve to Jake before they were even born. Ah, actually, it's my mom with the Madame of the Hudson. They were best friends and decided to engage the two. Mom said you knew already." Bill said.
Heaven blink several times before suddenly standing up and shout at her husband for the first time.
"What?!" Heaven shouted. "And you readily agreed to give your daughter to some brat!" She shouted which caused everyone even the expressionless maids and butlers shocked.
Well, this is a first time. Ava thought to herself. I thought Heaven loves Bill so much that she could give up even her daughters. Ah... A mother's instinct?
"Ah. I-I thought..." Bill even forgot his facade of being a cold person as he acted like a husband under his wife after seeing his wife shout at him for the first time.
"I thought! I thought! Your excuses are always lame!"
"Mom, its okay. I...I actually like the idea!" Eve then said which surprised them even more.
Is this some kind of a comedic skit? I am entertained, I'll tell you. Ava silently laugh at this funny scene in front of her. Why is it like this? Every character here are so out of their role. It seems only Eve succeeded on being loyal to her role. Even the female lead is nowhere to be found. Well, I see her in school but she is not even a part of the story itself now. Just like that, the Walkers family ended their dinner with the couples shouting together. It seems like Bill already came to his right mind and acted like some cool man again while Heaven is trying to make Eve understand that these boys are dangerous especially boys like Bill and Jake. There are also the maids and butlers around, not knowing what to do and some who are curiously looking at one of the daughter's of the Walker who is staring at her plate and silently eating, not caring even the whole table is in a mess. The young miss is completely out of the current picture.
What's wrong with this family? They all thought.
When everyone decided to get to their own rooms to get some sleep, Eve didn't forget to visit her twin sister, Ava, that night even after all the chaos that happened.
"You did hear it, right?" Eve ask Ava while the latter is doing something on her phone.
"Hear what?" Ava ask her.
"I'm engage with Jake." She answered.
"Yeah. I'm not deaf. So?" Eve laugh with her question.
"So, don't be a slut and still stay by Jake's side! He is mine already!" Eve shouted making her cover her ears.
"You really don't have to shout. And I am not a slut. Also, staying away from him is so illogical. There is no reason for it. If you two are engage then go. I'm already out of it." She said looking tiredly at Eve.
Let me sleep, my dear twin sister.
"Already out of it? You go out of his sight then everything will be done. Stay away from him!"
"I told you, you don't have to worry. There's no catch for it to me. We are just friends."
"No, you stay away_."
"God, fine! Just let me sleep! Now, its your turn! Stay away from me!" Ava shouted back before pushing Eve out of her room.
Girl, my mission is in deep impossibility right now because my Alex is gone! Let me relax and think how to solve my own problems!
"Ah...Relax, Racelle. Relax!"
The next day, just as she expected, the whole day, Jake is annoying them both of Crawd when he was informed about getting engage. But this is not the most annoying thing, right now, Eve is in their side, eating with them while threatening Ava and doing creepy sweet cheesy things with Jake. With all of these happening, Ava's life turned more and more complicated thanks to these people.
Save me, Alex! Save me! Anyone?! My destined partner! Save me! She helplessly thought.
On the other side, at a University, a man look at the window and his eyebrows twitch and meet. He shake his head as if telling himself something inappropriate.
"What's wrong, bro?" His friend ask him.
"I heard a voice..."
"Are you on drugs? That's not healthy."
