For the past two weeks, it’s all I keep saying in my head. I’ve always had a thing for positive affirmations. It used to work.
Two days after Zander was discharged from the hospital, I tried talking to him. His decision was still the same. I asked why. What did I do wrong? How do I fix it? Just please, talk to me so we can fix it.
He didn’t answer, so I can only guess. I dated Alex, and while I can convince myself that it’s fine, I’ll just live with my mistake and love Zander with all my heart from now on, Zander can’t do the same. It’s understandable. I broke up with Alex not too long ago, and it might’ve been too soon to reconcile with Zander.
