After seeing the same scenery too many times, even the most magnificent would make you bored. Lilia withdrew her gaze and looked at Sofia. Emil had woken up, and Sofia was teasing her son with her head lowered. She looked so gorgeous that she didn't look like a real person as an angel had descended from heaven. My brother's choice is not bad. Although she is a scourge, at least she is a real beauty. Lilia thought so while reaching out towards Sofia: "I can hold Emir for a while." Sofia pulled a wry face when she heard Lilia, and she knew the sister-in-law very well after those days. She loved Emir for sure but was more interested in seeking pleasure, only thinking of her nephew when she was bored. Luckily, she was taking care of Emir all the time, but it was easy to treat the child as a toy doll to play with. "Don't change his clothes." Sofia said as she handed over the child, "It's cold here." "I know." Lilia carefully cradled her nephew in her arms but still inadvertently knocked the hat off his head. Emir's hair was silver-white like Lilia's, but unlike Lilia, Emil also had a pair of fluffy white pointed ears on his head. Sofia bent down, picked up the hat that had fallen to the bottom of the boat, put it into the silver bag that hanging at her side, and took a thicker cotton hat out of it and handed it to Lilia. Lilia sighed worriedly as she put the cotton hat on her nephew, "I wonder when these wolf ears on his head will go away." Sofia laughed and replied, "Maybe later. When he was born, he also had a white wolf tail, like a little monster that scared me to death." Lilia disgruntledly said, "Hmph, little monster? You should have guessed it would be like this before you gave birth to him." Sophia snorted, "I didn't know your brother was a wolf when I first got pregnant." Lilia muttered in a low voice, "Then my brother didn't know you were human either; if he knew, he wouldn't have married you, bringing you back to the wolf realm and suffering accusations." Sofia sneered back, "You think I'm willing to go back with him? He was the one who forcibly tied me back." Lilia, "I don't believe it." Sofia, "Believe it or not." The two were engaged in their usual daily quarrel when the view in front of the boat suddenly changed. The boat sailed from the narrow river and entered an immense and incomparable valley. The area was surrounded by cliffs and mist, and the water was extremely dark. It has become an abyss, mysterious and depressing. On the opposite side of the entrance were two big bloody-red words carved on the mountain: Misty Valley! The temperature inside the valley was even lower, and the eerie, icy air pierced into clothes like sharp needles. Lilia's animal instincts sensed that terrifying creatures must be lurking underwater. While holding her breath, she subconsciously hugged her little nephew tightly, keeping him close to her chest, fearing that something would suddenly emerge from the water and snatch him away. Sophia reached into her pouch without moving and calmly gripped her long knife. The old man finally said, "Who asked for fate?" Sophia and Lilia both said at the same time, "Me!" Lilia looked at Sofia in exasperation, "This place looks very dangerous, and you are a human; don't you have the ability to ask it? Don't be a fool!" Sofia was determined. "I'm not as weak as you think. Skoll is my man. Of course, I'm the one to ask. You take care of Emir." The old man seemed to agree with Sofia, so he stared at her face and slowly spoke, "Lots of people come to this valley to ask about someone's fate, but only a few can leave alive. The water under the boat is thousands of feet deep, burying countless souls. If you insist on asking, it's better to consider whether this person is worth asking." Sofia didn't think twice, "He is the person I must find back even if I gamble my life." Lilia was about to say something when the old man unexpectedly lifted her from the wooden boat and left Sofia alone. It happened suddenly, and Lilia couldn't react, so she held her little nephew tightly, fearing that he would fall. Fortunately, they quickly landed on the ground. The old man carried Lilia and landed on a protruding platform above the cliff with the words "Misty Valley" engraved on it. While letting go of Lilia, the old man sat cross-legged on the platform's edge, looking down at Sofia. His voice was like a great bell: "The rule of Misty Valley, only those who can break through can get the chance to ask about fate." Sofia stood upright and looked up at the old man without fear, "How?" "Defeating the divine beast of the valley." With the old man's words, the lake suddenly stirred, and a giant Python covered in black scales broke through the water. Its eyes were like copper bells, and outside were jagged teeth. When it lifted, its giant body seemed to cover the sun. The lake's surface was constantly rolling, and the blade-like boat floated with the water up and down, almost turned over. Sophia tried her best to keep balance and expressionlessly gazed at the terrifying beast before her. Lilia instantly sucked in a cold breath, and Emir cried out in shock. Lilia glared at the old man, "Who the hell are you? Why should we all listen to you?" The old man calmly stroked his white beard, "I am the master of Misty Valley." This unimpressive old man was the master of the Misty Valley? Lilia was dumbfounded. Another loud bang suddenly came from the lake. The giant Python hovered over the water like it was walking on a flat surface. Its eyes were cruel, and suddenly, it threw up its heavy, long tail, sparing no effort to slap towards the wooden boat where Sofia was.
