"I don't know if I like you yet, but I'd want to try dating you so I can find out," George replied, and I laughed. I'm sure he knows a thing about love.
"All right, I'm willing for the two of us to be a couple, but if it doesn't work, we'll just be friends again, do you understand?" I asked George, and he nodded and extended his hand.
