Caroline's PoV
The following day, I went to mom and dad's guest room, knocked, and opened the door, and mom glanced at me since she was lying on the bed, reading a book.
"Good morning! I had no idea it was morning!" I approached her after hearing what Mom had said.
"We need to go home and say goodbye to George," my father remarked, and I agreed.
"All right, dad, since maybe we'll have a mission today, thank you for staying here last night," I told my mom, and she put down the book she was reading.
We exited the guest room, and when we got down, I saw Johnny and George conversing; dad didn't say anything to say goodbye because George was busy reading the paper he was holding.
