29 Salmon took to watching the camera and sound crews as various scenes were shot and re-shot all over the village. He found it fascinating and never tired of seeing how the actors could switch from being themselves, then characters, then back again. Over the course of the next few lunchtimes and evenings, it became something of a ritual. It was the Wednesday evening, as he sat on the same old bench, that Helen appeared.
